I first came to Baan Wannakovit with a friend back in 2023, and I was so impressed by the homemade food and the cozy, peaceful atmosphere. It honestly felt like visiting my grandma’s house – super warm and comforting🫶🏻I tried khao chae (ice-cold rice with a Thai flower scent) and absolutely loving it👍It was so fresh and perfect for the hot weather – really light and refreshing.
Today, I came back again after two years – this time by myself – and the food is still just as good as I remember. I had the Thai rice vermicelli with sweet and sour coconut cream and steamed rice ravioli with fish filling. And what really made my visit today special was Mrs. Taew. She was so kind and welcoming🥺She asked me about my life in Bangkok and took a photo for me because I came alone and I was the only guest today. She also gave me a tote bag as a gift. I was honestly so touched by her kindness😭
