Once again, I received no reply.||I then sent a message through a well-known instant messaging platform, and I could see that it was marked as “read.” It took them more than a week to finally respond.||Their explanation was that there had been “an error in the system” with my reservation. Firstly, it's not the system that’s at fault, but rather the person managing it who made the mistake. When a hotel receives an online booking, it should be entered into their reservation software, which provides a second chance to spot any errors. Telling someone four months later that you can’t honor their reservation is unacceptable.||They then offered me a “special price” if I booked directly with them: 1,200 baht (around €32.50). However, this wasn’t even for the room I originally booked, but a lower-category one.
