I arrived with that familiar flutter of excitement when I recognized the signature Hilton scent in the lobby, that comforting fragrance that makes you feel at home no matter what city you're in. How heartbreaking it was to watch that warm welcome evaporate the moment I opened my door to my room.
The contrast left me speechless. Instead of the crisp air I expected, I was met with a musty staleness that clung to my clothes and that peculiar undertone of food left out too long. I found myself desperately opening windows, chasing after fresh air that never came.
The bathroom became my daily frustration. the towels... oh, those scratchy towels that exfoliated more than they dried. Every morning I missed those plush clouds Hilton usually provides.
The gym became my personal endurance test. Between Bangkok's humidity and the vacationing air conditioner, I finished every workout drenched as if I'd gone swimming. And breakfast... so limited that by day three I could recite the sparse offerings by heart.
I've always been a loyal Hilton guest precisely because I knew what to expect. But this time, for the first time, I can't recommend this property. It's not that everything was terrible, it just wasn't what the brand promises, nor what we repeat guests have come to trust.
I hope this proves to be just a stumble rather than a trend. Because when we choose Hilton, we're choosing the reliability behind that name, a promise that, this time, went painfully unfulfilled.
About the people working in the reception, the restaurant and the door Man...they were just exceptional, they make me forget about this discrepancies every day with your friendly and...

Read moreIn early October, I stayed for two nights. I greatly appreciated the attached gym and pool, as it allowed me to maintain the same routine I have back home even while on a business trip. The gym was adequate, but I felt the pool was a bit short, being only about 15 meters in length. The room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved that a washing machine was provided. I bought the cheapest detergent from a nearby 7-Eleven and tried it out. I hung my clothes outside using the room's hangers, and they dried overnight. I highly recommend using these amenities. It would be even better if small detergent sets were regularly stocked in the room, or if small quantities were available for free or for purchase. I've attached a photo of the detergent I bought from 7-Eleven for your reference.I also had breakfast there. It was a basic buffet, but the omelette was delicious. There were also options like fried rice and pasta. The variety of bread was abundant; I couldn't finish everything, but what I did have was very tasty. There's a Starbucks and a croissant shop nearby, which I recommend checking out.The staff were incredibly friendly, with lovely smiles and polite service. Pang (a female staff member) and Fia (a male staff member who speaks Japanese) assisted me, and both were very kind and wonderful people.I will definitely stay here again on...
