Viennoiserie as the name suggests, is a bakery that produces breakfast pastries in the style of Austria, Vienna. One of the unique selling points of a Viennoiserie is that it unlike a boulangerie that sells conventional baked breads, Viennoiserie specialises in sweeter breads such as croissants and brioche. The croissants at Tiengna Viennoiserie Bangkok are the highlights at this cafe…

First of all, the 3 items that we tried were all DELICIOUS. Starting with the Flat White, it was served with a nice little latte art on the top and it tasted rich, aromatic and smooth. Reminded us of the great-tasting Flat Whites that we would get in Australia, albeit at a much higher price. Next, the Yuzu Croissant. Initially, Tom thought that the topping on top would be it. It would be next to impossible to fill the insides – not especially if your croissant is that flaky! However, Kate saw that “Yuzu Cream” was written on the description and after cutting the croissant in half, there it was. A rich, appetizing yuzu cream awaits.

By the way, we have yet to touch on the croissant at Tiengna Viennoiserie. It is probably one of the best croissants we’ve ever had. You could smell the buttery-ness before you taste it. The exterior is so flaky and crisp that we find ourselves scraping these bits after we were done with the croissant. How in the world did they do this? Just so good! 🤩

Continuing my journey to find the best almond croissant in town, I stumbled upon this café today.

As I stepped in, I was greeted warmly by the staff—always a promising start. The ordering process was smooth and straightforward, which I appreciated.

The vibe immediately stood out. With glass walls surrounding the space, natural light flooded in, giving the café a bright, open feeling. The background music was soft and soothing—just enough to set the mood without being distracting.

I settled into a surprisingly comfortable chair, though I did wish the AC was a bit stronger. It didn’t take long for my espresso and almond croissant to arrive.

And wow—both were exceptional. The croissant had that perfect crunch on the outside, wasn’t overly sweet, and tasted incredibly fresh. The espresso came with a thick crema and delivered a bold, satisfying flavor.

So far, this is the best almond croissant I’ve had in town. It’s clear they care about quality, and it shows.

Loving this place that is located in walkable distance from Phrom Pong BTS station. They offer plenty variety of viennoiseries as well as drinks. Love the Ispahan Croissant, a flaky buttery croissant with a rose, raspberry & lychee filling. The filling is not too sweet and has just an adequate amount so it’s not overwhelming. Also love their chicken parmigiana sandwich. The toast is soft yet got enough crunch, filled with a cheesy tomatoey sauce, tender & juicy fried breaded chicken, with spicy mayo, onion and vegetables. The portion is quite hefty too. For the drinks, love the lemongrass butterfly pea which is so refreshing. Other recommended menu is the matcha canellé, croissant with egg benedict & smoked salmon or bacon. The place can be quite packed during brunch but they have plenty of seating areas indoor...
