This was my third trip to Bangkok, and I can confidently say that Clover Asoke was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed in! It has everything a traveler could need: comfort, perfect location, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Here’s a bit about our experience:
Service All the staff are incredibly attentive, friendly, and speak very good English, which made communication easy. I especially want to mention the restaurant team, including Noona, Kookai, Mos, New, Ann, One, and the chef (who was kind enough to teach me how to make authentic Thai noodles!). The reception team was also super welcoming – they were all so sweet, even if I don’t remember all their names. Plus, the reservations team, with Mr. Light and Satawat, did an excellent job taking care of every detail of our stay. And I can’t forget the cleaning staff, always smiling and ready to help!
Cleanliness The room was always spotless! We requested housekeeping on some days, and every time we returned, everything was beautifully arranged and tidy. Wet towels were replaced daily, and they even provided an iron and ironing board for us. Cleanliness is clearly a priority here, and since I have allergies, it was a relief that the room had no mold or dampness – I slept very well!
Location The location is unbeatable! The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from the Blue Line metro station and the BTS (Skytrain), making it incredibly easy to get around. There’s also a huge shopping mall just 5 minutes away on foot, along with many restaurants, pubs, and entertainment options nearby. The area is lively and safe, and because it’s on the main road, it’s easy to get a taxi, Grab, or even a motorbike. But I highly recommend the metro since it’s fast and most attractions are along the Blue Line.
Facilities and Amenities Clover Asoke offers an impressive range of amenities! I love collecting them, and they were so generous here. In our room, we had a mini fridge, espresso machine, water kettle, tea, coffee pods, cold water, and even two juices provided for our stay. The room also had a TV (though we barely used it, being so busy exploring the city).
The hotel also has a great restaurant, a practical coworking space, and a rooftop pool with a bar offering an amazing view of Bangkok. It’s the perfect spot to relax, escape the city’s hustle, and enjoy a drink at the end of the day! The elevator only opens with the room card, adding extra security for guests. The air conditioning worked perfectly without any noise, and even though we were near a busy street, we didn’t hear a thing from outside.
Comfort and Decor The bed was very comfortable, ideal for recharging after a day of exploring Bangkok! The room’s decor truly matches the city’s vibe – lively and diverse. The hotel’s artistic atmosphere really adds to the experience.
Breakfast Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay! With both Western and Asian options, there was something for everyone: fruits, bread, noodles, salads, a variety of dishes, juices, two espresso machines, and freshly made omelets. There was so much variety that I barely needed lunch! And making your own noodles was a fun experience – I recommend asking for help if you’re unsure about the recipe (the chef kindly gave me some great tips afterward).
You can have breakfast in the swimming pool.
We will definitely return to Clover Asoke on future visits. If you’re looking for high-quality accommodation with comfort and a prime location in Bangkok, this is the place to be! This hotel truly understands travelers’ needs and makes you feel at home.

Read moreI recently stayed at Hotel Clover Asoke in Bangkok and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendliest staff at reception who were always ready to help with a warm, genuine smile. Their attentiveness was exceptional – I needed extra pillows to elevate an injured ankle, and they provided them immediately without hesitation.
The hotel’s location is unbeatable, placing you right in the heart of Bangkok's action. Despite being in such a bustling area, the atmosphere inside was peaceful and relaxing.
The breakfast buffet was a highlight of my stay. There was a wide array of options to satisfy all tastes, including an omelette/egg station, a selection of breads, cheeses, meats, bacon, hot meals, and both Thai and Western dishes. A special mention to Rose, the incredible chef, who made the most delicious pandan pancakes (Dadar Gulung). The cinnamon syrup was a delightful surprise that I absolutely loved! The fresh juices, especially the guava juice, were also a standout – so refreshing and flavorful.
The rooftop pool and bar/restaurant area offered stunning views of the city, providing the perfect place to relax after a busy day. There was even a quiet room on the rooftop where I could comfortably work on my laptop.
The gym was another pleasant surprise – modern, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with air conditioning and fresh towels. It exceeded my expectations for a boutique hotel and added great value to my stay.
The rooms were clean and thoughtfully designed, and I appreciated that all rooms had windows – something not always common in Bangkok hotels.
Lastly, I want to give a special shoutout to New, the kind and attentive hostess at breakfast each morning. She greeted my family and me warmly every day, always ensuring we had everything we needed and making us feel incredibly welcome.
I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Clover Asoke for anyone visiting Bangkok. From the outstanding service to the great amenities, this hotel truly delivers on all fronts. Thank you for a wonderful stay – I can't...
Read moreI feel the hotel is overpriced for what you get. I'll start with the positives:
Staff are extremely polite and friendly. I left an item behind when I checked out, the receptionist grabbed it from my room and handed it over to a taxi, which honestly was going above and beyond Location is good, close to MRT and local parks (you MUST check out Benchakitti Park) Hotel was clean and had a nice image Easily accessible location, close to Terminal 21
Negatives:
Included breakfast was terrible, it's worse than school lunches. The selection of food was very basic, and was mainly catered to Western tastes. It was so bad that I tried cancelling it from my booking and receiving reimbursement (no luck there). The last 3 days of my trip I didn't bother getting the breakfast. There was a very basic noodle bar, an omelette station, and then five buffet style containers that typically had chicken sausages / ham, baked beans / some form of potato, vegetable noodle stir fry, roast pork, seafood stir fry, and a soup station. There was also a fruit selection and a waffle and pancake section with various bread to choose from. Don't bother with the included breakfast, you can find much better and for the same or cheaper nearby. Best way to describe it is like you're eating plastic food Noise levels were quite annoying, especially in the mornings with room service doing their rounds. Constant clattering of plates, doors opening and closing, beeping. At night, it wasn't bad The room I was in smelled of mildew or mold, but I didn't notify reception as it wasn't bad to the point where I felt I needed to change rooms. Returning to the room after a long day out, the smell would be quite strong
Hotel Clover Asoke made my stay in Bangkok hassle free, though if I were to go back in time, I would have chosen a different location as I believe the price I paid was too high for...
