This is NOT a 5-star hotel, do not be misled by the star rating. I’ve stayed in 3-star hotels that were far better maintained than this one. Overall, it’s a poorly maintained, dirty hotel with serious quality and safety issues. First Room: 1. The flooring had warped tiles/laminate. I didn’t think much of it at first until I injured my foot by accidentally kicking it in the middle of the night. 2. The bathroom had poor drainage, resulting in water ponding. 3. The cabinet door couldn’t close properly. After reporting these issues, I was moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room had its own set of problems: Second Room: 1. The flooring was still warped, though without protruding edges. 2. The toilet bowl was stained and dirty, and the flush leaked intermittently. 3. The bedside power socket was faulty, I had to call a technician to fix it. 4. The room was unclean, with hair on the floor and in the bathroom. 5. The same water ponding issue in the bathroom caused us to slip. 6. The door lock malfunctioned and we couldn’t unlock the room. I reported it before heading out for the day, but when we returned, it still wasn’t fixed. We had to go down to get the staff to manually open it for us. The issue was a low battery, which could have been resolved much earlier. 7. The elevator was extremely unreliable—long waits, doors failing to open, or opening and closing instantly without letting anyone in. 8. The electronic window blinds didn’t work. 9. The complimentary shaving blade was blunt and unusable. 10. The stairway at the entrance was poorly lit, making it unsafe. 11. The bathroom lighting was terribly designed, a single spotlight directly above your head, casting shadows over your face while shaving or applying makeup. 12. The air conditioning randomly turned off, and the filters were filthy. 13. The bed was misleadingly presented a thin, cheap mattress with a latex topper. 14. Pillows are flat. Frankly, I have no idea how this hotel qualifies as a 5-star establishment. The standards fall far below what any guest should expect at that level.

Rather small hotel. Room wise ~ The room we have is small but generally clean, and the front desk and concierge staff are helpful. Accessibility ~ Doesn’t link to skywalk to terminal 21 but within close proximity which takes about 5 minutes to reach to the shopping mall. If you go to the adjacent building it bring you to the MRT directly through underground walkway. Of course you can choose to cross the main road other than skywalk and underground, but I wouldn’t do that due to the traffic and polluted air . Buffet breakfast from vegetarian perspective ~ With the price i paid, I find the breakfast is rather disappointing for a vegetarian like me. There isn’t much to choose from, when there is already very limited options to begin with. Not much greens and the salad bar is just bare minimum. I only like their fried tang Hoon with eggs and tofu dish which I am skeptical that the two dishes are really vegetarian or just without meat. While I suspect it’s cooked with fish sauce and was not able to get the answer from the staff immediately, I am pleasantly surprised that the hotel took my query seriously and responded to me through a handwritten letter within the same day. I am relieved to know that they are cooked without the fish sauce! I like the orange juice. They taste like they are fresh! Fitness~ Rather small gym and limited for someone who like to workout. I hope they can consider extending the opening hour to beyond 6pm ! Songkram ~ oh no! Why are they having the party at the entrance of the hotel ! Not everyone like of getting wet and want to take part of it ! I certainly hope there’s no one throw water at me as I warn them and walk in and out of the hotel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will get really mad at this

After using the services here, it makes us wonder what the standards are for giving stars to eachHotel . Because there was many things that looks wrong for any hotel and specifically not acceptable for 5 start hotel!!! 1. The Furniture was very cheap and not acceptable condition to use. Like drawers have cheap mechanisms and can’t be close. - The room door. It has a gap between the floor and the door so basically everyone can be heard inside and outside. The wall of the room we have checked in has mold on the wall and the same area was damaged by probably water leaks. - Furniture that doesn't work well, such as drawers in bathroom cabinets that can't be closed. Every time you push it in, it will slide out. The minibar cabinet door can't be closed. The shower it self was broken and did not function fully and it was use for many months like that. 2. Loud noise all night, couldn't sleep, heard the sound of cars driving all the time. We was on the 21st floor. 3. The elevator is very slow and hot. 4. I asked the employee to call a taxi. The employee said that the taxi will be total 500 baht. He won't go out and call normal a taxi. The meter required us to call Grad ourselves. I understand that it was a small amount of money but the staff should reserve the rights of the customer when they make a request, not just wait for a taxi commission like this if you call yourself a 5 star hotel. small swimming pool The hotel is located in the heart of the city. Convenient for traveling by public transportation. Not far from the BTS station and away from department stores. Walk a few minutes and you'll arrive. The housekeeper is polite and provides good service.

Overall the Hotel is nice but not meeting a 5 star standard to me!From the appearance it has a luxurious or high quality feeling to you.However, a lot of defects can be found in details.I checked-in to the Room 1901, first thing I smell in the floor is full of irritating thinner smell. I asked the stuff for this, they told me they have painted some wall on that floor today, so they want to renovate a bit, but still rent that floor to people.Inside the room, first thing caught my attention was the silicone edge in the shower room is molded, the shower head is extremely old with all black edge in the holes.Toilet paper holder was not installed properly, it is very loose in the joint.The floor blank is not even, seems like damaged by water for a while ago.Through out the first day, I continuously noticed and heard loud noise came from the TV wall, and the whole wall is shaking.Went outside to investigate myself, the building construction was designed to have a trash tunnel from top to ground for their convenience to throw certain items.And that tunnel is right behind this TV wall, so every morning to afternoon, they suppose to use it and causes this unavoidable noise.And the 2nd day afternoon I noticed a smelly odor came from the bathroom drain.After my request, they arranged a new room in 2702.However, the defective setup is pretty much the same, including the floor, silicone, and toilet paper holder.Swimming Pool only able to fit to 3 -4 people to lay to sunbath, and 2 bar chairs in the side, 1 more bigger normal chair with coffee table.Imagine if they have 200 rooms, (should be more), it has only 5 % of clients can be in the pool at the same time.Lift, 2nd day morning I was stuck in the Lift for about 5 mins. The lift started to stuck in a floor, no matter what i click it does not go up and down.At the end I pressed the bell, a voice told me to wait for it, it will go up first and go back to the ground floor.It did happen, but no anyone comes to explain to me to say sorry as a 5-star hotel. (Does it means they knew this happen usually?)Also the waiting time is long.Restaurant has a nice view to see Bangkok, everything looks clean, however as a 5-star hotel the food option is the worst in my experience in bangkok over the last 5 years. It has Juice, water, salads, 2 options of cold cut, 1 sausages, fresh cooked eggs/omelet, fresh cooked noodles, some potato stuffs, fried rice / noodles. Pretty standard but no surprise, I was expected a bit more if it is a 5-star.Advice to you who wants to book:I will not book this again, the same price or much lower can have much better quality in most of the aspects.Only prefect thing in this hotel is the location next to the BTS. If you a perfectionism do not make yourself suffer! Honest advice to the hotel:A 5-star hotel requires nice presentation. Meanwhile, you have to maintain the true quality, what I see is the hotel top management was not willing to invest for renovation during the covid time, and now it caused more problem and not willing to fix everything without...

The staff here are very polite and nice. But I had a very bad experience for my first stay here today. Many issues happened to me. This is my worst experience so far with so many hotel I stayed. Room condition is terrible.

1)I booked the executive room of continental at agoda and paid, when I reached, my booking was canceled by hotel. I book again but price increased. Although is not fare, but I still done the booking since I'm already here.

2)i was so tired, I just thought that can check in quickly and have a good rest, I went to the reception and check in, the receptionist talk to me polite me and help me to check my booking. But it is not in their system but I had already received the confirmation letter from agoda, she called management to find out and asked me to wait for 30min, she said the room not ready and it is already 2:30pm, check in time is 2pm. I have to leave my begs at reception and go for some food.

  1. I got my key card when I came back to reception and quickly went up to take a good rest, I put all beg into the room and try to wash my face in toilet, i) the faucet came out rusty water, I waited awhile til the water become cleared. ii) Then I use the bidet water spray, the bidet spoiled and the water keep spraying, only stop after awhile, iii) the aircon is worst than a fan, hot and slow wind, I waited for 30min still the same. I thought that I can make a call to reception to tell them send someone to fix.. iiii) But the phone cannot be used.. I need to go down again to tell the receptionist about all this, she answered me politely and help me to solve the problems, she asked me to wait for an hour to change me a new room, also sent technician to repair the aircon while I was waiting in my room. Technician came fast and fixed, I was too tired and took a nap while waiting, but aircon still remained the same, it was so hot inside the room and made me had a serious headache. I went down again and told her about this, she changed me a upgraded room with so many apologies, also directed me to buy painkillers for my headache since I asked her.

My wife and I stayed here for the last night of our visit to Bangkok. Unfortunately it was not a good experience for us. The check-in process went smoothly, but the 1st thing I noticed was one of the two main elevators was out of order. They were using a service elevator as a backup, but it was located off to the side of the lobby elevators. Needless to say using the elevators whether going up or down was cumbersome and a slow process.||The real fun began when my wife and I settled in for the evening. I took a shower and upon exiting the shower I immediately saw that the bathroom floor outside of the shower was completely covered in soapy foam water. I found that the source was a bathroom drain located under the sink. It totally overflowed all over bathroom floor. My wife and I were totally shocked as this has never happened to us before. ||I decided to take pictures of the mess and report this to the front desk clerk in person. As they say “a picture is worth a thousand words!” It was around 11:00pm. When I reported our incident to the young front desk clerk and showed her the pictures of what happened she seemingly didn’t know how to respond. She immediately said there were no other rooms available…I told her that they needed to do something at least have someone check it out and clean it up. She said she would have someone check it out. About 20 minutes later a male worker responded. He had a small bucket with a few rags. After he surveyed the bathroom he realized that he was going to need more than a few rags saying that he would be back. Another 10 minutes later he returned with an armful of towels. By now it was midnight and another 10 minutes went by before all of the foam water was wiped up. He didn’t really say anything or offer any explanation but he was polite during our encounter. ||The next morning when we turned on the TV it was literally on the blink. I had to turn it off and on a couple of times before I could get a picture. The breakfast buffet was decent so at least we had one positive experience. I also agree with other reviewers that the room felt outdated and the furnishings were worn. Not a hotel that we would consider returning to on...
