Esaan Nation Kitchen Sukhumvit road, Bangkok Thailand

Sukhumvit road in Asok area is an vibrant hub at the very centre of Bangkok comprised of businesses, tourist attractions and other forms of entertainment.

One of those attractions is Esaan Nation Kitchen, a Thai-Esaan restaurant owned by Khun Aey (เอ๋ อัมพร เบญสัน) who strives to delight her customers; locals and tourists alike.

Khun Aey has founded her restaurant on a few essential principles. She focuses on delivering the best customer experience through the quality of the raw ingredients, cleanliness, high and attentive customer service and most importantly, through delivering consistently delicious food.

Esaan Nation Kitchen puts a lot of care into making food creations which is a combination of Thai and Esaan cuisine. They also utilize experienced and skilled chefs under the supervision of the owner throughout the entire process. Esaan Nation Kitchen has become a best-selling restaurant. Customers highlight both the food and the homely atmosphere this restaurant gives to them as they serve you like they serve their own family, delivering an authentic taste of Thai hospitality.

Esaan Nation Kitchen’s must try dishes are the following:

  1. Papaya salad: there are 12 options for you to choose from. The owner said that no matter you are a local or a tourist, if you visit Esaan Nation Kitchen, you must give this menu a shot.

  2. Stir fried chicken with cashew nut : The way the chicken is marinated, fried and the different spices added into this dish is what makes it so special.

  3. Tom Yum soup with shrimp: Khun Aey proudly presents this dish as the national dish that every tourist that visits Thailand has to try.

  4. Pad Thai with shrimp: The Thai way of seasoning and flavoring this dish is like no other - The texture of the noodles, the freshness of the shrimp and the amount of care put into this dish is definitely the signature of this dish.

Lastly, I would like to recommend is their vegetarian and vegan options. Due to the fact that the owner really takes all customers feedback into consideration and would like all customers to be as satisfied as possible dining at Esaan Nation Kitchen, the owner has taken the time to come up with new + healthy recipes and decided to respond to the customer’s suggestions and start offering food options for vegetarian or vegan customers too.

Esaan Nation Kitchen has delicious, good quality food and is located in Asok area, the middle of the T-junction on Sukhumvit road. With an affordable price and location at the very centre of this vibrant metropolis, this Thai-Esaan restaurant is the place to go.

From my travelling experiences, I can say that not only does Esaan Nation Kitchen serves delightful food dishes, the owner who is so focused towards her customers really reminds me of the concept “Love is all around”. The love which radiates through Esaan Kitchen’s superb service makes their customers sense happiness and they really do welcome everyone...

My wife and I recently dined at Esaan Nation Kitchen and had the pleasure of experiencing a taste of authentic Thai cuisine. We decided on two dishes: the Yellow Curry with Chicken and the Fried Sea Bass with Garlic.

Yellow Curry with Chicken: This dish was a delight for the senses. The curry was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The chicken was tender and absorbed the flavors of the curry beautifully. The spice level was moderate, making it enjoyable without overwhelming the palate. It paired well with steamed jasmine rice, allowing us to savor every spoonful of the luscious sauce.

Fried Sea Bass with Garlic: The Fried Sea Bass was the highlight of the meal. It was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside yet moist and flaky on the inside. The garlic topping added a robust flavor that complemented the subtle taste of the sea bass without overpowering it. The presentation was also impressive, making it a visually appealing dish.

Ambiance and Service: The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere with a decor that reflects the essence of Esaan culture. The restaurant fills up quickly at night and a full house really adds to the atmosphere. The service was attentive, and the staff were very polite.

Overall Experience: Esaan Nation Kitchen delivered a memorable dining experience with its well-executed dishes and authentic flavors. Both the Yellow Curry and Fried Sea Bass were standout dishes that we would happily order again. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy quality Thai cuisine in a cozy setting.

Rating: 4.5/5 – Highly recommended for those seeking authentic and...

I think I found bug in the thai salad. I feel really terrible. Servers insist that it is not bug head but Thailand black pepper. But I know what black pepper is. You can compare two pictures (real pepper and the bug that I found).

I understand people sometimes make mistakes. what people have to do when they make mistakes is admitting it and saying SORRY. But this restaurant didn't do that to me. Sever wanted to pay for the food except thai salad and they treated me like I am a black consumer. I am really angry and upset. I don't recommend you this restaurant strongly.

Ps. Black customer = black consumer. If you dont know what black consumer is, please Google it. DO NOT TALK me like I am a racist.

I didn't eat the food I ordered. I left almost of my food (I didnt eat 80% of my food). I cannot understand why you says "As you did finish almost your meal, hoping you enjoy the experience". DO NOT let the people reading this review think wrongly. According to your reply, I finished almost my meal, then I insist not to pay for the food. Jesus christ. You know who I am and I left 80% of my food. And I swear to god I really want to vomit remaining 20% of the food. Because I dont want to eat bug food.

Please dont talk to me "I hope you enjoying free meal and enjoy the experience in your restaurant". Finding BUG HEAD while eating & arguing with servers is not a...
