Could not be happier with Bulow Casa!

I had organized my proposal here and had reached out prior to setup a special and memorable evening. Their management and staff went to incredible lengths and made it their personal mission to coordinate with us daily, plan every detail, accommodate every request and help organize the most magical and memorable experience, including a fishing trip, photographer and a romantic beach-side dinner on very short notice.

Despite the changing weather due to the coming rain season, the staff was most understanding and accommodating with standing by to make arrangements as soon as there was a sunny evening to make sure we had the best sunset background.

The romantic dinner was beautifully arranged, with each member of the team doing everything they could to make sure every moment went smoothly and perfectly, keeping the entire proposal a complete surprise!

They did not just treat us like valued guests, we were family. Each staff member went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay and every aspect of the proposal was magical.

Food portions were incredible! We didn't come close to finishing the beautiful multi-course meal (and believe me we tried!). Absolutely great chef putting out some of the best tasting Thai Food on the island. Great plating, texture and variety!

Service 6/5 - Prompt, attentive and extremely pleasant, i cannot say enough about how good and attentive the staff is! Location 5/5 - By far, the best resort of the island with the most magical view, where you can enjoy both the sunset and sunrise Resort 5/5 - Clean, spacious, comfortable and beautifully designed. Comfort 5/5 - I cant think of anything we could want for that was not already provided, and then some! Beds and furniture are great and comfortable with all toiletries we needed included with our stay.

We will be back again for our next anniversary. I highly recommend visiting this resort, you will not be disappointed.

The location of the hotel is beautiful, with breathtaking views and a very large private pool right by the white sand and perfect beach in front of the bungalows. The sunset views and atmosphere are absolutely stunning and hard to find in this world. The room was spacious and tastefully designed, but unfortunately, the bed and pillows were way too hard (and we like firm beds normally).

Breakfast was delicious and diverse. The cleaning staff was very fast and competent, making the stay enjoyable. Other staff members were always friendly and eager to assist, but there was a lack of training evident in their inattentiveness and forgetfulness. Plus the staff at the beach not once asks you during the day if you want anything, you always have to walk to them yourself and wait for it.

On top of that, the organization of the beach beds was disastrous. Despite the high room rate, one had to get up early to secure a sun lounger, as the staff provided the beds/chairs to non-paying guests before lunch time so if you arrive late, you might not get a sun bed due to non-hotel guests just being allowed to take them which is very strange for a luxury place like this.

Most disappointing was the staff's lack of attention to the beach litter. Every evening and still in the morning, a significant amount of trash could be seen on the beach and by the sea, tarnishing the overall picture and causing harm to the environment (trash mostly left by the non-hotel guests they allow).

Overall, the stay at this hotel was mixed. The absolutely beautiful aspects were tarnished by the hard bed, inattentive service at the beach, and issues with beach sunbed organization. Improvements in these areas would be expected from a hotel in this price range.

And the most disappointing is that despite providing feedback directly at check out, the hotel has not responded at all to that, which might have avoided us posting this...

Incredible beach spot with clean, white, soft sand and blue waters right outside (especially outside the pool villas). Nice interior decor, good air conditioning and a big bathroom with three showers and a big jacuzzi tub. The best part of any pool villa is of course its private pool facing the beach, long enough to swim laps, seriously! Fully stocked, partially free minibar, kitchenette, safe and an elegant mosquito net above the bed. Friendly and helpful staff and a free shuttle to the “walking” street 800 m away. Good beach restaurant on premises with pleasant evening entertainment and nice atmosphere. The place is not cheap, but worth every baht, if you stay in one of the pool villas. Long-tail boats are few and far between in this part of Sunrise Beach. We are grateful to the entire staff, but our special thanks go to a smiling receptionist Chanikan for her friendly attitude, patience and assistance with our various needs.||A minor drawback would include of people from other resorts parading right in front of the first-row villas, especially later in the day and before sunset (view and the beach are unquestionably best on the island), snapping pictures, enviously peeking into hotel’s private pools and sometimes trespassing in search for instagrammable photo opps. Hotel security is sharp and usually react quickly, but sometimes even legitimate residents of adjacent villas take shortcuts and come too close for comfort.
