Oasis Lipe Resort — Hotel in Ko Lipe

Absolutely loved our stay at this charming guesthouse nestled amidst lush greenery! We are living in Thailand and visited many hotels and resorts and this place was one of the best for us for many years. The owner and her family were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We felt like we visited our friends or family. K.Ann (owner) is amazing: very quick responses and efficient service. We also booked a boat tickets a 2 snorkling trips with them, she took care about everything.

The spacious rooms were well-equipped, good for staying with kids. Be ready that electric will be off when you leave the room and please don't remove the card from the key to keep aircon on when you are out of the room. The electricity is super expensive on the island, don't try to cheat the owner who is a really nice person.

My daughter enjoyed the company of their amazing parrots and cats. The clean swimming pool was a refreshing treat, and breakfast was delightful with very tasty bread. The location is really great: very close to walking street and 7-11 but still very quite. Not far from beaches as well. Our favourite is Sunset beach. Just a heads up, like much of the island, mosquitoes were prevalent, so bringing some anti-mosquito supplies is advisable. And recommend to keep the bathroom door closing all the time.

We lived at Oasis Lipe for 2 months and I should say that the staff is 10 out of 10. Very nice people, always easy to talk to so that was a huge plus. For a monthly rental it is not that cheap compared to other prices on the island. However, the rooms are huge!!! Wifi is 5G and works great!

For me, the bed was super hard which was not comfy for such a long time and being without aircon can be quite tiring as Koh Lipe can get really hot. We have a tv on the room but we never turned it on, and also a kettle and a small fridge. Keep in mind that all electricity will switch off when you take the key out, I thought it was a problem for a long stay and it was quickly solved with the owner Anne that was really helpful all the time.

It is true that are many mosquitoes, this is not only because of the open bathroom but also because is a really green place so I guess it is normal to have mosquitoes around. That being said, we did have our doors open to let the air inside (we just use some mosquitoes coil and was ok) and there is a net on the bathroom door as well, so it was...

We never thought we could hang out at nights on walking street coz we had 2 kids with us ( boys 11 & 7). Yet we did this every night !!! We just left the boys in the care of the really sweet caretakers Ann & her niece. They were so sweet that the niece actually cooked bowls of soupy noodles for dinner for kids. Our best time here was spending time with Ann & Simon who are somewhat the pioneers at Koh Lipe !! The information they gave us was so perfect, it even answered some things that were bothering me. Anyways, the rooms are beautiful and ideal for a family of 4...they have the 2 bunk beds in the garden rooms that is perfect for the kids. Simon is just the right guy to go to if you are looking at a fishing trip. Ann really can do all the rest i.e from taking you out on a boat to simply making you feel comfortable about leaving small kids behind. I will definitely...
