Hotel was lovely, at the quieter end of Fisherman's village, meaning you had peace and tranquility, but only a 5 minute walk to get to the heart of the bars, restaurants, night markets etc.||We had a ground floor superior double room - beach front. Had everything we needed; wi-fi, large, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, ample storage, tv, fridge, blackout curtains and air con. Opened onto a balcony with furniture and then straight onto the lawn which was then straight onto the beach. ||Lovely swimming pool - not big, but enough to relax and cool down. Bar and restaurant on site. We had breakfast included and also had lunch sometimes.||Staff were really lovely and they provided lots of info, maps, etc about the island and what you could do. They also had a library where you could borrow books.||Being on the ground floor and near to Reception, it was sometimes a little noisy in the mornings, but didn't spoil our stay.||The only aspect that was a little disappointing was the beach at this end of the village. It's quite narrow and the water just wasn't as clear as it was further up the beach where most of the hotels and restaurants are based. So whilst we stayed there on the hotel loungers for the first day or so, we didn't really use it much after that.||Hotel had a laundry service, but a lady and her husband about 20 metres to the left down the road offered a service and we used that. It was great - hand your bag in and you get it back the next day, ironed too and price was very good. We also found a fabulous restaurant called Happy Friday's just beyond the laundry service. It was like eating in someone's house, but he staff were so lovely and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced.||We also hired a car for 3 days when we were there from one of the tour operator agencies and that was good to get around the island, as be warned, the taxi and street bus prices are really high and despite the bartering everyone does, they all seem to charge the same prices and difficult to get those down by much. Up to that point, we spent quite a bit on taxis, which we weren't expecting.||We visited Silver Sands beach/Crystal Bay, which was beautiful but absolutely packed, so not very relaxing. We also found another couple of beautiful beaches - Thongson Bay which was stunning and Taling-Ngam beach, which was gorgeous and only about 10 of us on there.||Night market in Fisherman's Village was superb if you're looking for gifts etc, but also street food, beer, cocktails and music...

this newly renovated beach front hotel is the best on koh samui. we have stayed here on 5 occasions...we cant get enough of this beautiful hotel. its a home from home environment.....the loviest, friendliest staff whome we now call good friends, and also the hotel owner Ray. nothing is ever too much trouble for any of them. With the new renovations it's even better.......huge beautiful apartment with all the mod cons.theres an enormous very modern shower room with beautifully displayed towels. the huge balcony with gorgeous comfy chairs, dining table and the most amazing view's of the manicured garden, beach, pool and other islands is a dream.....and also peaceful...no traffic noise. I loved that I could do all my washing too before returning home in the fully fitted kitchen with all the mod cons..no expense spared. |the hotel is situated in fisherman's village. the best place to stay on the island. there is a wide and diverse choice of very good quality restaurants lovely bars and beautiful shops.|I'm looking forward to many returning holidays....we stay here for 2 weeks each visit and it's...

We stayed for 10 nights and chose the loft house suite with ocean view. The apartment didn't let us down. We had a four poster bed, private bathroom with walk in shower. There was a TV in the room and a corner suite. The balcony was the length of the room with 2 chairs, a table and and airer. The bed was comfortable and air conditioner was a god send. You could borrow dvd from the hotel reception, we didn't bother but it was there if you need it. One night we got a F40 on the air conditioning system, we informed the reception on the the way out and jumped straight away to resolve the issue and checked again a few day just to make sure it was working properly. Breakfast was OK, choice of 4, Thai, Chinese, French or British. Could do with updating. The restaurant did other meals and wasn't too badly price. We tried a couple of times but generally we explore different restaurants. The was a pool at the hotel, small pool but a god send. The beach was small but the hotel did provide sunbed and umbrella. The hotel is updating the rooms in May as we're informed about a architect was needed access...

Located at the quiet end of the beach, this delightful boutique hotel has a swimming pool, a few ground floor rooms with patios, a charming outdoor restaurant, and direct beach frontage with a good swimming area. The rooms suffer a bit with the occasional leak or shower drainage issue (water escapes the shower area). The safe in our room was temperamental. The "penthouse" has a large smart TV while the smaller rooms have "not so smart" smaller screens. WiFi is adequate though expect occasional disconnects. The two access points are divided between the rooms and the patio. There are multiple electrical connections accomdating almost every plug configuration. Lighting is good. Each room includes a small fridge and stocks an umbrella. Shampoo, rinse, and body wash are stocked in the washroom. A quiet, pleasant place to reside. Not fancy, but comfortable and staffed with good people.

This place offers the best value for your money, i think. It's both located on the beach with a direct access to the shore and sea, and it's not very expensive. The staff is very nice and is very helpful, especially Shy, she is very friendly and helped us to extend our visit beyond the original dates by offering a discount on a more expensive room as other rooms were already fully booked. There are some nice options for the breakfast, the location is great (it's in the Fisherman's Village) and it's pretty nice to sit on the balcony and observe the sea either when it's sunny or when it's raining. Please notice that the hotel is adjacent to the main street which celebrates Friday every Friday evening. It will be noisy in your room. But it will be so in every other place in the village, so there is no problem with the hotel itself.
