Very nice rooms, well equipped and kept very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. But: the shower is just on/off and usually somewhere between cold and lukewarm and lacks power, which is not good when you try to get conditioner out of long hair. While the room is kept very clean, the bit of beach in front of the hotel is not and littered with dead fish, leaves and, well, litter. It is also not directly accessible from the suits tarasse as the pictures would imply, but there is an about 1 meter concrete wall, and no stairs to get to the beach. You have to climb down the foundation, which is somewhat slippery due to algae. The Junior suite is listed on booking sites as having 68~70m2, but that is a mistake as that figure includes both terasses, the room itself has 30 ~32m2 including bathroom. To the hotels credit that is listed correctly on the hotel website. The roof pool is nice, but small, the build in whirlpool is, at least as of writing this, not operational. The optional breakfast is really good and the continental breakfast for 250 bath has good value with real croissants, having it served on the tarasse for 40 bath extra is a real treat and I recommend that. Location is great, lots of restaurants nearby. Overall I would have given four stars if picture and description induced expectations had matched reality.

I highly recommend this establishment. The staff are super friendly and helpful. This is my 3rd time here and I have already booked for next year. The location is amazing in the quieter part of Fisherman’s Village. The room I stay in is right on the water. It is beautiful. Housekeeping arrives with a big smile everyday & the sane when you walk past reception. Everything is walking distance & there are many fantastic restaurants and a couple few pubs. I recommend the Frog & Gecko & The Jolly Fisherman. Hacienda offer bike hire but I recommend going down the road. It’s a lot cheaper!! but you do need to either pay a large deposit or leave your passport. I leave my passport & I have never had a problem. There is room service for breakfast (extra cost but it is pretty cheap) and they have 3 different categories. There is also a swimming pool with spectacular views on the roof but I prefer the ocean. As a full time world traveler, I highly recommend this place!!

This is a great boutique hotel, I believe maybe 8-12 rooms, right on the beach, and you a literally at the beginning of fisherman’s village but it’s also quiet they best of both worlds. Upon arrival the young lady at the front desk was very very kind and professional, booked my ferry ticket and walked me to my room, the rooms are very clean and modern but still fits the hotels vibe, great architecture, very very cold ac and has a fan if you don’t like ac, really quaint balcony over looking walking street, great hot shower and super comfy bed, this place could easily sell for double the price it’s really such a steal it’s truly a little 5 star hotel, trust me you’ll love your stay here. I checked inn late and left very early but the beach front looked amazing and there is No restaurant in hotel there are two right across the street:

It was our 1st time on Koh Samui and hence Fishermans Village. The reception we received at check-in was so lovely, friendly , jovial, and really genuine. |We'd booked an Exclusive Sea front room (we got number 2) and paid about £380 for 5 nights. |The second I walked into the room, I said I may not leave it, and for a lot of our 5 nights, I didn't!! It was stunning. It had everything we wanted! The room was really nicely decorated, big TV with Netflix etc, really comfy bed, excellent air con and a ceiling fan. Good size bathroom, shower was hot but very little pressure. |The outside space was just lovely! A very comfortable day sofa/lounger, decking area with table and chairs facing the most stunning of views. Lower patio had 2 sun loungers and lead to the beach!! |The room and outside area was kept spotlessly clean. House keeping just appeared almost by magic! Once we only left the room for a few minutes and when we returned it had been cleaned, outside too, furniture was moved and deck swept every time!! |The swimming pool is on the roof, up maybe 50 steps, so be aware if this could be an issue with mobility.|Water was provided via a 1ltr glass bottle that you refilled from a cold water machine - excellent idea, more should do this. We didn't have breakfast but it was available at a small charge. The only thing that let this hotel down was the lack of pressure in the shower, normally this would bother us, but it was almost irrelevant as we loved the room so much!! |We loved Fishermans Village so much, we changed our last 4 nights (of our 60) to come back, unfortunately, Hacienda wasn't available!!|Definitely...
