I have NEVER been spoken to in the way that the receptionist spoke to me. ||We booked through a third party and indicated our arrival time at 9pm EARLIEST. Our flight was delayed, we then had to wait for a shuttle from the airport and were the last to be dropped off so we did not arrive until 10pm. Only to be welcomed by a shut gate and a sign saying office hours 9pm to 7pm and a number to call. We rang the mobile 4/5x and each time it rang out.||We trapsed to the neareat bar with our cases to get wifi. We tried to call again and after 45 mins got an answer from a guy who said he was at his friends beach party and would be back in an hour. I asked whether it was at all possible for him to get back sooner as we had been travelling for 13 hours and were exhausted! ||He said no, one hour. He suggested that we leave our bags on the front of the hotel and go to the night market. The street had some unsavoury looking characters on it - there was no way I was leaving our bags there (see photos) in any event I wouldnt do that in England, so no way would I do that in another country. ||We waited at the hotel 1 hour 20 minutes. A group of men on peds arrived and lingered around the front of the hotel watching us, it was all a bit intimidating and odd. Then a light popped on inside and a young guy came out and said "sorry". ||We proceeded to check in and were told that the office was only open 9-9pm and that he did not know we were arriving later. We explained that we had indicated that we would arrive at 9pm earliest when we booked. He then said that he had been there until 10pm which was a lie as we arrived at 10pm and the office was shut. He said that they dont allow check in after 9pm and we said that perhaps that was a fault of the website we booked through. We remained calm and tried to be reasonable but expressed our dissatisfaction after a 13 hour journey and an almost 1.5 hour wait outside. He then told us that we had to pay for the room upfront as well as 1200 baht for the room key. We explained that we were not aware of this and that normal hotel policy was pay upon departure. In any event, we did not have the cash having just come from the airport and changed the little cash we had to pay for the shuttle bus. He said that it was hotel policy to pay upfront. We were rather annoyed in any event about having to pay a full nights rate for a night that we were only gaining access to at 23:50! ||When he said that he was only staff we said that we wanted to discuss with manager in the morning and therefore asked again if we could sortout payment in the morning.... we just wanted to get to bed! Where is the customer service! ||He became irrate and started raising his voice demanding money to check in.|We explained again that we did not have the money and asked if he could make an exception to the "policy" to enable us to get some sleep, particularly after the long wait on dodgey alley. He said that he wanted to keep our passports but to be honest we did not feel comfortable leaving them with him and after the way he had raised his voice and shouted at us "Ive already told you i need money" He was becoming increasingly frustrated yelling and waving his arms around, it was clear he was becoming annoyed as he wanted to go back with his friends (who were waiting outside) to the beach party he had just left. ||He said if we dont pay we get out, we said that we were not trying to avoid paying but simply didnt have the money on us. To be honest we were really upset having been spoken to in such a manner. He then swore at us and told us to get out. We have NEVER been spoken to in such a way, so unprofessional, he couldnt have cared less. As it was past midnight at this point we struggled to get a hotel for the evening and paid a ridiculous rate for a local hotel.||Absolutely digusted and would not recommend this hotel to anyone, if they speak to people in such a way they dont...

Не утомительный 9-часовой перелёт на Боинге. В аэропорту Пхукета встретили представители тур. оператора. Прямо в автобусе раздали пакеты документов с бесплатной тайской сим картой с положительным уже балансом. У отеля уже встречала хозяйка заведения. Заселили моментально. Следом, минут через 5, прибыл багаж, хозяева доставили его мне прямо в номер. Расположили меня на 2 этаже. Комната просторная, с небольшим симпатичным балкончиком. 2-х спальная деревянная кровать с прикроватной тумбочкой. Бельевой шкаф с антресолью, плечики для одежды. Косметический столик с большим зеркалом. Небольшой обеденный столик с двумя стаканами на соломенном подносике, соломенной вазочкой с салфетками. На краю стола - сейф. Два стула со спинкой. На стене большой телевизор(пульт управления), много программ, но русскоязычный только один - наш родной 1 канал ✌️. Мне хватало, перед сном посмотреть всякую ерунду. Рядом со столом - две металлические трубы с перекладинами, это для белья. И на балконе есть приспособа для сушки белья. В номере есть небольшой холодильник. Окно с жалюзи и москитной сеткой. Совмещённый сан. узел с дверью и махровым ковриком у входа. Чистый унитаз к, ершик, раковина для умывания, полочка для средств личной гигиены. Шампунь и гель для тела - в дозаторах на стене. Душ. Электровтдонагревстель(вода горячая была всегда). Нет шторки в душе, вода разбрызгивается почти по всему полу(слив-дырочки в полу), но высызает все быстро. Очень порадовал кондиционер, удачно расположенный. Постельное белье белоснежное, очень удобные прямоугольные 2 подушки, было шерстяное одеяло и 2 больших махровых полотенца.Имеется фен. В номере ежедневно убирались, если я не отказывалась сама. Меняли постельное белье и полотенца через день, регулярно пополняли запас питьевой воды в номере Хозяева содержат отель в чистоте, нет никаких насекомых и грызунов! При заселении берут депозит 1000 бат, возвращают при отъезде, после сдачи ключей от номера. Можно забрать депозит и раньше, но взамен оставляешь паспорт, до возврата им ключей. В отеле бесперебойно работал Wi-Fi, по WhatsApp бесплатно общалась с родиной. Отель находится на 3 береговой линии, до пляжа минут 20 вразвалку, глазея по сторонам. Хороший бюджетный 4-этажный отель, по 4 номера на каждом этаже, 1 этаж служебный. Собственной территории с бассейном нет - и не надо, моря хватает с лихвой! После 21.00 вход в отель через запасную дверь по магнитному ключу. Шумоизоляция слабовата,шум ночной жизни улицы мешает уснуть, но потом привыкаешь и все ОК. А ещё у них есть замечательный рыжий кот МАЙКЛ, очень добрый и ласковый! Очень довольна этим отелем! Очень довольна доброжелательна ми, внимательным и отзывчивыми хозяевами отеля! Some rooms are big enough for two, but there was no window, we took a room with a window, which is toooo small for 2 people, who are not a couple. The bathroom is ok with shampoo and shower gel, but sometimes bad smell appears. There's also a refregirator. No closet, but there're some places you can hand your clothes on. The conditioner works ok at 26+, if you want temperature under 25 water starts dropping. Also the bed is VERY firm, hard to sleep on that. All in all not a bad hotel, but you stay there only if you plan only shower and sleep there, you don't bring much with you (hard to place everything in the room) and you're a couple or very close friends, who feel comfortably together in a very...
