Bel Aire Patong, Phuket — Hotel in Patong

The hotel is located stone throw away from Bangla road which is famous for night life in Phuket. Being close proximity of Bangla Road, anybody can visit Bangla road even after late night / early morning. Also small bar / restaurants are located just hotel premises and hence anybody can enjoy the spirit of bars/ restaurant after stepping out from his / her room. Also the Pa-tong beach is just less than a kilometer from this hotel and hence beach goers can walk to the beach anytime. The room is specious and clean. Cheap, clean and convenient. 6 minutes walk to the beach. Rooms are clean and pleasant bathrooms are old but clean. Friendly staff. Most Russian guests. Breakfast buffet is simple and just 150bt. There is no pool. It is a jacuzzi on the shadeless rooftop. No bar on site but many in the carpark below. Great budget option but not for soft sleepers as it is noisy both from the bars on front and the noisy predominantly Russian guests. There are only two staff (female) that are friendly and helpful. The rest will ignore that you exist and don't speak English. It is what it is but it's not the friendly Thai hospitality that everyone should experience at least once on a visit...

I booked this place for my honeymoon. First, the location is not great becausr it is surrounded by open bars and often the girls who are sitting on the bar stools and working behind the bar make a pass at you. It was very embarrassing for me to take a stroll with my wife at night. Second, the breakfast buffet was pathetic, was served cold eggs and sausages. When I told one of the waiter that the buffet food is cold, he did not seem to care. I think a small lodge in thane where I live, offers better service than this pathetic hotel.
