Red Steps Restaurant — Restaurant in Pattaya City

I need to place 2 difference comments here because I had 2 totally difference experiences.

(1) Breakfast I had stay at Sandalay hotel for a few days and here is their breakfast. BUT when the first time I come here for the breakfast, the staffs here DENY that, so confuse. Then I back to the hotel's front desk and then the hotel staff lead me to the restaurant again, and they finally "accept" that I can have my breakfast here. For the breakfast itself, so-so. Same-same as any common breakfast buffet (normal quality), not good, not bad, just a common breakfast.

(2) Dinner After a few days in my Pattaya holiday (I already check out and moved to the other hotel) some day I want to find somewhere for a relax dinner, and I walk by there again. But at night this restaurant atmosphere is better a lot, and I found that their menu so interesting they have many dish sounds so nice. And they have a live band there at night, so I walk in. I need to say that there are almost NO live band in whole Pattaya which serve lyrical songs --- you will found that always Rocks, Rocks and Rocks in Pattaya everywhere and only. So I'm so happy to have my dinner here and enjoy for the nice songs. Foods and drinks is GREAT. Not "good" but great. Unlucky there are almost no other customers, this is very sad because at night this is definitely a nice place whether for single or couples.

I'm really like this place (for dinner, not breakfast) and I totally recommend this place...

Went there today for my dinner and ordered a steak, gently as the waitress was she asked me how do I liked my steak, it was either Welldone or Medium.

I answered her with medium… after a while my steak served to me in literarily no way then medium. it was much over grilled and more welldone the. welldone. Even the patatoes served on the plate were not baked well and were not ready to eat. The grilled paprika’s came including the stem .

We stopped by (7 of us because it had curb appeal) to have drinks and a 5 entree meal. The service was mediocre (not counting the lady with the scowling face), but the food was lacking any authenticity. The drinks were typical nothing that would warrant a recall Beach side stop, so our expectations were low. But nevertheless, I don’t recommend it. Unless there is a tsunami coming in, you need the Internet to make a last minute...
