Sweet Pound Hotel — Hotel in Pattaya City

I stayed at this hotel for a few months, and it was fantastic. The hotel met all the basic requirements. The weekly rates were very reasonable (marginally lower than daily rates), making it an excellent option for longer stays.

The room was clean and comfortable, with practical features like a safe, fridge, hot water system and working AC. The bed and rooms were insect free. The location was excellent, situated within walking distance of the beach (about 200 metres), shopping mall, restaurants and bars, so everything you needed was within a stone's throw. Despite being in a busy area, it’s quiet at night so one could sleep without disturbances.

Although the reception isn't 24 hours, the staff were accommodating and allowed you to arrange check-in or check-out in advance. Additionally, the building has a security pass system for after-hours entry, which added an extra layer of security. Being in Pattaya, I wouldn't have wanted anyone barging into the building so this feature was a great asset to have.

I'd like to also mention Ben, front of the house, was really tremendous in helping me throughout my stay. Her professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond made a big difference to my Thailand experience.

This happened a month ago, and after going to the police and investigate the lady that works at the front desk and that cleans rooms name Ben stole one of debit card information during my stay here. Ben cleans rooms and I believe that's when it happens I believe she took pictures of my cards and passport. Today, one month later Ben tried to use my second debit card today so I'm aware she may took pictures of all my information in my wallet. So I am aware she has my full wallet information. Ben purchase 1400 baht on tiktok. Ben tried to use the same card three more times but my bank flag the transaction because I never in my life purchase anything on tiktok. Today one month later Ben tried to use my second card at mia clinic for plastic surgery. Yes this very disturbing I had to cancel all my cards and I tried contacting the hotel owner and cannot connection with him or he doesn't return calls. I do not recommend this hotel for safety reason. This happened on July 14 and also today August 1 Ben trying to use my card and also using my card successfully on tiktok. front desk old woman try to ask more money for no reason (even you booked and already paid online. she still refuse give you a room)

I’m victim but the funny is ..this place with some long stay customer (cheap price room) and one white young man customer walking pass with knowing nothing but try to be a hero rescue the staff (white stupid man stares and angry face to me. try to threaten me stop discution with staff)ridiculous here’s people. i almost call police.
