J Daeng Seafood Restaurant – A Must-Try Near Pattaya Night Bazaar
Located beside Pattaya Night Bazaar, J Daeng Seafood Restaurant offers an incredible seafood experience with generous portions and authentic flavors.
We ordered Pineapple Fried Rice with Seafood (medium size) and Tom Yum Soup (small size)—but to our surprise, the portions were far larger than expected! The dishes were packed with an abundance of prawns and squid, making every bite a flavorful and satisfying experience.
The food was perfectly cooked, with a balance of rich flavors and fresh ingredients. Despite our best efforts, we couldn’t finish our meal due to the huge servings.
An interesting fact: J Daeng Seafood has been serving delicious food for over 45 years, making it a true gem in Pattaya’s culinary scene.

Read moreLet me start by saying would I come here again. NO, no way would I ever want to eat here again, such a disappointment. I ordered shr8mp cakes ( actually wanted crab cakes which they didn't have today) fried rice with squid and White Snapper with Lemon sauce, since that was the only fish on the menu. (keep on mind this is supposed to be a seafood restaurant) The shrimo cakes were OK, but I have had much better, pretty tasteless. The rice came as fried rice with shrimp not as ordered with squid. The snapper was well over cooked so that it was just falling a part in a kind of blunt none spicy lemon sauce (I ordered extra spicy) Also the scales from the fish were not removed properly, so that you constantly had to spit out scales. All in all very disappointing and I will not go here again. Best was the San Miguel Light, but that was not even cold. Cost me a...

Food: very mediocre. We ordered Chili paste clams, Egg fried rice, Deep fried garlic shrimp, vegetables and Cheeseburger with fries. The portions were large, taste was bland.
Service: some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Actual sighing and bad facial expressions when we asked for anything such as utensils which are necessary and then ketchup or chili for our meal. From the time our first order arrived it was 25 minutes for the 2nd dish. We ordered 5 items. It took over an hour to have all 5 arrive. We had to get the last three to go which made them visibly upset.
Restaurant is very busy but I think it’s because of the convenient location for tourists. We...
