Fair prices (dorm 200bht), everything is super clean and new, so new it looks better then most western hostels i stayed at. Very friendly staff, we were joking around all the time. Public area downstairs with drinks for sale, no problems with bringing your own though, they'll provide glasses and icecubes and you can stay there as late as you want. If at least one of the two rooms with access to the pool is free you're allowed to use it too. During my stay there were perhaps 4 other people in the whole hostel so a friend and me had a dorm for ourselves as had everybody else. Its only 100 metres from a small mall (mainly expensive food though) and a night market (only busy on weekdays) that has lots of amazing streetfood, actually the widest variety i came across in a single place so far. Walking time to that center roundabout thing where all the busses start from is about 10 minutes. Central festival mall (pretty big, you'll get everything there but to western prices) is best reached by motorbike taxi (100 baht).
All in all very good accommodation, would...
Read moreBooked a 6 bedroom and upon arriving seeing the room and bathroom situation. Took my things and found another hostel to stay at.||Room: the bed was very hard. Its equivalent to sleeping on a bed with a semi-thick blanket on it. The blanket on the bed was just a large white towel. No curtain for any privacy. Each bed had an outlet and light. ||Bathroom: For where we stayed we would have to walk up the stairs and open the sliding door into another 8 bedroom room just to use a single bathroom! So essentially, that bathroom with a toilet and shower would be shared between 14 people. The other option for us was to walk down two flights of stairs and use the bathroom near the lobby. This was the dealbreaker for me. ||Location: was decent theres a 7-11 right outside. 5 minute walk to a small night market and mall. ||Staff: we were not able to get a refund because our stay was for 4 nights but overall the lady who helped us out in the lobby was very nice. ||Price: cheap! But for this place... you get what...
Read moreMy friends and I booked 3 queensize beds via Hostelworld for just one night. We checked in and got a warm welcome. They showed us the best places to go to on a map and helped us with booking a taxi for the next morning.||Our room was on the third floor and we were told that the room was new. You could still smell the new furniture, that was nice! The bed was clean, but very hard. Not all the beds had a curtain, so that was a little bit dissapointing.|The shower was in the same room as the toilet. Normally this is no problem but the water was leaking from the toilet and the water didnt dissapear in the pit. The water from the sink also had no pipe so it fel straight on the ground. Very weird when you brush your teeth and have to avoid standing in it.||+ Good working airconditioning with a remote|+ Clean beds|+ Kind and helpfull staff|+ Big lockers (backpack fits in it)|- No curtain at my bed|- Crappy bathroom/toilet||It was a okay stay for the one night...
