Sino House Phuket Hotel — Hotel in Ratsada

We had a great stay at Sino House Hotel, which offers spacious and well-furnished rooms with a touch of elegance. The location is quite convenient—while it’s around 30 km from Phuket Airport, it is within walking distance of Phuket Old Town, making it a great choice for those wanting to explore the historic area. Additionally, having a 7-Eleven just opposite the hotel was a big plus, making it easy to grab essentials.

The room service was excellent, and the breakfast was decent, though not extraordinary. One thing that could be improved is the complimentary breakfast policy—our booking was for a family, yet only two breakfasts were included, with an extra charge for our child. Another minor drawback was the limited supply of drinking water—only two complimentary bottles per day, with extra bottles being chargeable, which seems to be a common practice in Thailand but was still a slight inconvenience.

Despite these small issues, the overall experience was very enjoyable. The hotel is also well-placed for travelers heading to Phi Phi, as Rassada Pier is just a 10-15 minute drive away. If you’re looking for a comfortable and well-located stay near Phuket Old Town, this is definitely a good...

A nice place to stay in Phuket. Would love to have given them a 5, but the only thing we were unhappy about was the shower---two of the walls were quite moldy. The rest of the bathroom was ok. With the negative out of the way, we enjoyed our stay at Sino House. The staff was friendly and accommodated our requests. The breakfast was different---we think they were still stuck in the Covid mindset with pre-ordering required, and meal trays delivered to the room. There was a choice of about 8 breakfasts and several beverages. They were prompt about bringing the breakfast trays, and prompt about picking them up after leaving them in the hall. The breakfasts were pretty good, and well presented. The decoration in the lobby and in front of the hotel was very nice. The rooms were huge---probably twice the size of most hotels. Lives up to its 3 star rating, offering a gym, restaurant and spa. Sino House is about 300m from a shopping plaza which contains the 'Pint Factory', and would be just 500m from Old Town tourist streets. Standard double rooms are as advertised, about 32m2 with king bed, refrigerator, sofa, table, and plenty of wardrobe space. Bed is comfortable. There are sockets either side, including usb ports, and lighting controls. The bathroom (shower) is separated from the toilet, and the vanity mirror and wash basin occupies a space adjacent to the ensuite bathroom. There is a single elevator that services only the 5 floors, so fast access isn't usually a problem. The service is good here.
