The Tint was our third hotel/hostel we stayed at during our Thailand trip. It was a nice location as it was close to Old Town Phuket with lots of shops, restaurants and the Night Market. Unfortunately it is quite a distance from the beaches which are about 40 min drive away.
Our room was surprisingly large for what we were used to with a small balcony. It had a TV, closet, mini fridge and AC. The issue we had with the room was that for some reason or another the hallway to which your room is attached echos quite loud. So every time someone leaves or enters there room you can hear the door close and the footsteps proceeding. Some people are early risers and so therefore you are as well.
The staff was nice and spoke english well for the most part. The included breakfast was the worst we encountered and we actually skipped it on the second day. You had a choice of Thai style (congee) or Western (white toast and eggs).
Scooter rentals are also available at this place for 300 baht for 24 hrs which is convenient. So we rented a scooter to go to the beach. They take your passport, ask you to sign a contract and provide two helmets. The scooter they rented us was already in the red (empty) for fuel. We headed to the beach and about 25 mins into the drive we and a few other scooterists were pulled over by the police. They checked our drivers licence (I have a BC, Canada car and motorcycle class licence). Police stated we needed an International Drivers licence and fined us 500 baht. The contract that the hotel made us sign states you need a motorcycle drivers licence, no mention of an international. Once we returned to the hotel I questioned them why there is no mention of this in the contract or even talked about before renting. They just shrugged. I asked if this happens often and they said it did (there could have been a language misunderstanding). They only offered to refund half of what we paid for the rental after I told them that I wanted a full refund because we put 60 baht worth of fuel in it and was only able to use the scooter for a short period.
Due to the disturbing noise, below average breakfast and the experience we had with the scooter I would not recommended this place to anyone nor...

The rooms are modern, spacious, and come with a cute, colourful design that adds a fun touch. Plus, the balconies are a great bonus for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to Old Phuket Town, with its charming cafes, markets, and street art. It’s also close to the bus terminal if you're heading to the beaches. The staff are super friendly and helpful, always happy to recommend places to visit or help with transport.A lovely extra is the included breakfast, with a tea and coffee machine available for guests. All they ask is that you clean up and wash up after yourself, which adds to the welcoming and homey atmosphere. There’s also a small selection of snacks, drinks, and ice creams available for purchase within the hotel—perfect for a quick treat. One of the best features is the pool, which is very nice and open late into the night—great for a refreshing dip after a long day of sightseeing. The only downside is that the bathrooms are a little outdated, and the shower pressure isn’t very strong and could use an upgrade. It’s not a deal breaker, but something to keep in mind. For the price, The Tint still offers great value. If you want a cosy, stylish stay away from the tourist crowds, this is a...

Easy to get around and 5minwalk to the Sunday Market. ||Booking experience was good the strange thing is that the more days you book the earlier the charges are put in. So I broke up the booking into three sets of 3 days each, allowing me to cancel the later days if not needed.||The taxi from the airport knew exactly what the hotel was, and I had booked a pickup from the travel agency as it was late at night. The journey took about 40 minutes. ||Checking in was easy and I like to recommend Miss Awana as a good staff. I had requested for a room on the ground floor and it was provided. The room is a large room with two twin sized beds and an attached bathroom. Very cold air conditioning and ample table and wardrobe space to hang your stuff. ||The lobby has about five or six sofas and two dining tables, the area is brightly lit and spacious. Coffee machine, biscuits and fresh fruits providedfrom 7am to 330pm daily.
