Egg E Egg Chicken rice Phuket — Restaurant in Ratsada

Quality Hainanese chicken rice in Phuket Old Town (or not far from the Old Town). The menus are extensive as the eatery also offer series of Thai staple favourites, as well as seafood dishes and comfort foods. Dishes were mostly spot on especially their chicken rice; although their boiled rock lobster was a letdown as it wasn't that fresh (also the priciest item out of all the menus). The deep fried shrimp heads and stir fried egg and vegetables were marvelous. Pricing only slightly above average for a very very high quality meal and chicken rice specialty.

The drinks were also limited, despite their list of options. Slightly disappointed that I couldn't have my Thai tea unsweetened as they only premix their drinks and flavours are fixed.

Great service by an all female crew! Ambience - nice, looks like Balinese design and nautical / maritime crew in the next door sister shop. Toilets were really clean! Food was relatively fast. Came here twice - chicken rice @ lunch was above average. Rice was fragrant. white chicken was tender. All in all above average. Winner was the Thai milk tea and chrysanthemum tea! A lil too sweet but tasty. Came back at night for the steamed soy sauce fish (fresh, fragrant soy sauce), fried vege and tomyam - if you ask for spicy - ITS REALLY spicy! Prawns in tomyam were fresh but ingredients were meager. The tomyum was nice but lacked something. All in all - above average food. A lot...

A newly opened chicken rice shop in the old town area. I ordered through a food delivery application.

The rice grains were fluffy, tender and separate from each other without getting mashed together but the fragrance was not as dominant as it should be. Poached chicken was soft but still lacking in juiciness.

I didn't like the fried chicken at all. The batter was thick, hard and tough to chew rather than crispy. The soup is good but I would like it to be more aromatic.
