Eastin Grand Phaythai has the perfect location for travellers. It is connected via a covered walkway to the Airport Link and the Phaya Thai BTS skytrain. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location as we wheeled our bags out from the train. The moment I stepped into Eastin, I was captivated by its design. It is definitely grand, much like the hotel name. I guess I didn’t expect the interiors to look as luxurious and grand because of the reasonable cost, it is definitely value for money. The lobby is quite spacious, very clean in terms of both physical cleanliness and aesthetics. The ambience was serene with light pipes in music. The interiors of the hotel were nothing short of stunning, adorned with elegant furnishings and decor. Maybe a little too glitzy for my taste but not bad at all. As I approached the front desk, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff, ready to assist me with anything I needed. The check in was smooth and quick. They have an app which came in very handy for requesting towels from housekeeping to perusing tours that the hotel offered. And so much more. The impeccable service they provided throughout my stay was truly exceptional, exceeding all my expectations. From the dazzling chandeliers that illuminated the lobby to the plush seating areas that beckoned guests to relax, every corner exuded an air of sophistication and refinement. The rooms were just as awesome. The colours were muted, the design details on the wall above the headboard had the same pattern as the hallway carpet. The accent design on the wall hinted at Thai contemporary design. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, the towels were white and fluffy, the scents of the soap and shampoo in pumps was pleasing and refreshing. Hot water was pretty good. No complaints about anything, especially because the cost was beyond reasonable. The attention to detail in the design was evident, showcasing a seamless blend of comfort and style. They had black and white prints of Thai architecture dotted along the hallway and the rooms, quite beautiful. Apparently they opened last May 2023 making it only 8 months old when we stayed. We explored the different floors and all were done pretty well. It was a true delight to wander through the hotel's hallways, each space carefully curated to create a harmonious ambiance. There is a floor for events and another for conferences and yet another which is attached to The Unicorn called Foodie Hub. It was a delight to explore these places especially if one appreciates interiors design and food. The breakfast area is called Market@5 and it’s a huge place with a huge offering of food too. Another great restaurant which we frequented was the Trattoria22. This new and modern hotel is a testament to both contemporary aesthetics ans fantastic service. They’re impeccable, professional, friendly, always wanting to please service, offering a truly unforgettable experience for every guest. I can’t wait to return.

Newest kid on the blk. Pro Service - fantastic from the time you step into the lobby. The staff are so attentive and acknowledges you even if you are just walking around. Asking if you need any help. This service has long gone from bkk and I love it that is back at this hotel From the receptionist all the way to housekeeping, everybody has a bright smile on their face. Ps keep it up. It surely make the tourist an enjoyable stay. Afterall, we are running away from a gloomy face to a land of smiles. Rooms- I love how they have a pair of slippers so you can use it to attend the swimming pool and breakfast area. This is such a fantastic touch. Usually many of us would just have a pair of walking shoes and do not have any slippers. Using the bedroom slippers is so wrong too. I ove the app amenities especially for introvert like me who hate picking up calls and wondering what should I say. It was so convenient, efficient and smooth to use. Breakfast - OMFG, is fabulous. International with local flare. I make a video, just have a look. Location - is not what most people prepare as it not in those popular district but I have been to bkk numerous times and I just need a place that is near BTS and away from the touristy area. This tick all my check list. Don't be afraid that moving around is bad. As the hotel is away from the main shopping district, traffic is not that bad. I was from central world and it took me 30mins to reach back eastin. Is hot, staying in car is better than drenching in sweat while walking back. Other Lounge - was beautifully decorated, nice ambience and feel cosy. Love their complimentary drink. Will try others on my next trip as this trip was too short. Pool was great too but at level 22 it was still humid. I have to retreat back to indoor. But I managed to see beautiful sunset. Improvement The cotton bud has only 2 sticks?! I mean 4-6 sticks would be reasonable. For ears, noses and even eyes. Water, 2 bottles only? 4 bottles would be ideal since the weather is so hot in your country. 2 bottle at bedside and 2 bottles at the pantry. I not expecting yours to be like those luxury brands where waters re at every reach such as bed side, coffee table, vanity area, sofa, mirrors etc. Well well, that's all I have for you on improvement. Good job.

The hotel is brand new, recently opened in May 2023. We stayed for 2 nights one month after their opening. The hotel has a modern and elegant design and our stay is comfortable Room: Superior Panorama Room We stayed in a Superior Panorama Room and the room was spacious, offering a stunning view of the city skyline. However, the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard, as we found a used toothpick package (fortunately only the packaging) at the corner of the bathroom. Additionally, we noticed some shedding of the carpet in the room, possibly due to frequent vacuuming or foot traffic. Another aspect that we found slightly disappointing was the reusable plastic slippers provided. While we understand the hotel’s commitment to being environmentally friendly, we had concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene of these reusable slippers. The bathroom amenities were all in good working condition. The fixtures and fittings were modern and well-maintained, adding to the overall luxurious feel of the room. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the toiletries provided were good. Location: Convenient Located with Direct Access to BTS Station The hotel is well-connected to Phayathai BTS Station and Airport Rail Link Phaya Thai Station, where we can walk into the hotel 2/F through the direct skybridge. Given the bad traffic in Bangkok, such convenient connection is definitely a good reason to stay at this hotel. If you plan to use ride-hailing apps like Grab or Bolt for transportation, make sure to ask the hotel staff to tell your driver of the hotel's exact location and provide clear directions about the hotel entrance. Many drivers skipped the turn and therefore cancelled our order. Amenities: Infinity Pool We visited the infinity pool on floor 22. The pool was quite small and water was quite cold (yet acceptable) due to the absence of heating. The pool deck was well-maintained, featuring comfortable sun loungers for relaxation and sunbathing. The pool area started to get crowded after 11 am. We recommend arriving early or planning your pool time during less busy periods.

Booked this hotel for my recent family trip even before the hotel was opened and there were no reviews. But I still went ahead taking the risk after reading good reviews on their Sathorn Branch.

First impression of the hotel was great when we reached. Very new and clean, smells new and very luxurious looking. Situated at the back of an office building, hotel is very quiet even though located on the busy streets of Phayathai.

We were brought up to the executive lounge for check-in as I booked the Premium 2-bedroom suite. It was a great experience as we were served drinks immediately upon reaching the lounge. However, the experience soon deteriorated. The lady at the lounge was processing our check-in, and everything was fine at the start. Signed some papers, made payment and deposit for the hotel, and continued our drinks. However after waiting for 20mins, we still have not received our room key cards. I went to the front to ask the lady if the keys were ready and she said she will bring it to me later. After waiting for another 15mins, I asked again and she replied “oh you want to go to the room now?” I was shocked because I was actually waiting for the keys??? But she actually asked if I wanted to head to the room now, thinking that she was actually waiting for us to be done with our drinks. But actually the fact is that the room wasn’t ready! I brought my daughter to the toilet, and she passed the keys to my husband but we couldn’t head up yet. When I came back and asked my husband, he told me he has received the keys but they are still setting up the extra bed in our suite. Mind you, at this time it has already been more than 45mins since we arrived at the lounge. And, we did not arrive early, it wasn’t early check-in. We arrived at 6pm and the room wasn’t ready??

So we were brought up to our suite at about 7pm (I think?) and she showed us around the room. I can’t believe a hotel check-in could take more than 1 hour. After she’s done explaining the hotel’s app, and amenities around our room, she said our luggages will be brought up shortly. I waited until 7.30pm and our luggage’s still did not arrive and I was already quite mad because we had a driver waiting! I called up the front desk and asked if our luggage is on the way up already because we had to leave. The lady put me on hold and checked, after that she informed me that our luggages are still downstairs… she asked if they could just come into the room and unload our luggage when we are out and I told her that’s fine because we cannot continue waiting anymore.

And so, our driver waited for us for 1.5h while we had to pay him for waiting. We were supposed to head to Erawan shrine, Big C and then Jodd fairs however our itinerary for the day had to end at Big C because time was up. The driver could only service us till 9pm. So we headed back to the hotel after purchasing stuffs at Big C, and took a grab out by ourselves again to jodd fairs. I’m still feeling very upset about having to pay the driver to wait for us for 1.5h because the check-in took so long!

Despite this hiccup, I am pleased with the hotel’s conditions because it was new and also the bell boys standing at the front lobby door. They were all very friendly and polite. Breakfast was good as well.

Improvements can be made to the rooms like having towel racks to hang our towels after using. There was only 1 small hook behind the door. Replenishment of our bottled water was very good, they replenished every day and we had more than enough water to drink. But they forgot to replenish the tea bags, probably did not check?

Location of hotel is good but I would not say it’s perfect (yet). It’s directly connected to BTS so super convenient for people who travel by public transport. But for those using grab or even ordering grab food to your hotel, please beware because not many people know this hotel yet as it is located behind an office building and the signage of the hotel at the front is often missed as the overhead bridge is blocking it. Our grab riders had trouble...

I stayed for 2 nights at the 1 bedroom suite with executive club lounge access.

Room was exactly as per photos, very beautiful and clean. Bed was comfy, bathroom was good, my only gripes would be firstly my room has a connecting door to the next room. I guess this is good for bigger families but I could hear whenever the neighbour came back or went out. And I was lowering my TV volume in case the noise travels thru the door. Next was the shower water pressure which at the maximum heat was not very hot. Otherwise stay was pretty perfect. 4/5.

Breakfast spread at the main dining was good, spread was not bad. I skip the omelette station cos there was quite a queue for it.

The executive lounge was really beautiful, we had breakfast there for one morning and it was pretty quiet and not a big crowd. There you can enjoy a quieter, slower leisurely breakfast with city views. Food choice although less as compared to the main dining hall was sufficient if all you need is the usual toast, eggs, omelette, bacon, ham, hotdogs and cereals. They also have 2 choices for hot food, noodles and porridge which are freshly made and served when you ordered. Same goes for the omelette as well which is slightly tiny in size so maybe do a double order if you prefer a regular size omelette. Yeah no need to queue for omelette. Cocktails was also pretty good (as compared to what I had at millienium hilton bangkok which you can see my review in another post), the canapes, food and snacks were a lot more substantial and tasty. My only gripe were the loud and noisy guests which the staff brought to be seated next to us that kinda of spoiled it for us. We left 45mins later. Service staff could sometimes be a little more sensitive to these tiny details, knowing who to seat next to each other is a skill and observation. So I would rate service a 4/5.

We requested for late checkout and access to the lounge from 2-5pm which staff was okay but they did mention that we could not access the cocktails though. Not that we wanted to, but on hindsight we also did not access the cocktails on our first night there so perhaps the hotel could be more flexible and give you vouchers or e-vouchers so you can utilise your breakfast and cocktails even on your check out day as all these premiums are kinda of paid for your stay. But in the end we book for a spa session instead of using the lounge.

Upon checkout, was pleasantly suprised the lobby staff gave us welcome drinks voucher of your choice redeemable at the lobby bar. Perhaps because we brought up to the executive lounge for check in where welcome drinks was served, so they gave it to us for checkout, but it was a nice gesture as well.

Although overall we pay a more premium price of almost 30,000 baht for 2 nights for a 1 bedroom. I guess paying more means you are well fed for breakfast and cocktails. And you get sheltered walkway to the BTS and Airport Rail which is super convenient and easy when you have luggage. Oh and there is a cafe, convenience store, barber all right at level 1 of the hotel which...
