Nine Design Place — Hotel in Wang Mai Subdistrict

We are still staying at Nine Design Place but I thought I’d give it a review already.

What a gem of a hotel to stay in Bangkok!

The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, clean and feels homey. Bottled water, coffee, tea and snacks are on the house, as well as a hearty breakfast each day - fruit, toast, omelette, soup and a dessert, to which our host Mei says that she goes to the market each day and gets something that her guests can try as something Thailand-esque. Yesterday was mango sticky rice, today was longan sticky rice. Yum!

With Mei at the helm and her awesome team runs this place and treats us not just as guests but like family. From laundry services to directions and recommendations to places and eating places the team here are excellent! Like nothing is too hard, always with a smile.

Location is also great, close to the National Stadium train station and the MBK and Siam malls as well as easy to access.

Price is subjective, but staying at Nine Design place you see, taste and feel the value.

Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Bangkok and more than happy to recommend for others to experience a great place to stay in Bangkok!

A HIDDEN GEM IN BANGKOK – EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE LIKE NOWHERE

An outstanding hotel that truly goes above and beyond in every way. The staff are incredibly friendly, warm, and genuinely eager to help. Breakfast is included and was a great way to start each morning.

What really sets this place apart is the exceptional service. During our stay, we tried to order bed sheets from an online store but couldn’t complete the purchase due to not having a local Thai phone number. One of the amazing staff members went above and beyond—she found the shop’s contact number through Facebook, called them for us, and even placed the order on our behalf so it would arrive the same day. This was a lifesaver, as we had a flight back to Israel the next morning.

I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. The prices are very fair, the service is top-notch, and the level of care from the team is just incredible. This was our second time staying here, and once again, we were blown away by the hospitality. I’ll definitely return and will recommend this hotel to anyone...

We stayed at Nine Design Place for 3 nights and had a fabulous experience. The service was exceptional; the owner was extremely warm, welcoming and considerate, coupled with staff who were consistently attentive and friendly. The location is excellent and conveniently situated for exploring Bangkok’s main attractions like the Jim Thompson House as well as abundant fresh food options and a market at Banthat Thong Road, all of which was within walking proximity to our accommodation.

There was no safe available in our room, however, so we had to keep our passports and valuables with us for the duration of our stay but this is an insignificant factor to us. In general, the overall hospitality stood out so much so that we are sincerely touched and remarkably grateful to Nine Design Place for going above and beyond to ensure our stay felt comfortable and welcoming from the get go! We would definitely recommend Nine Design Place to anyone visiting Bangkok looking for a cosy, well-located stay with...
