Bonita House — Hotel in Wat Sam Phraya Subdistrict

I am not into partying, just stayed in this area for the convenience of the location and good price. staff was kind and helpful, rooms were exceptionally clean for what initially looked like a shady motel (I mean, just being honest) and personally for me this alone makes it an incredible value. I even had a couple guests over, and didn’t hear any complaints. I will say, the bed is hard. But that’s most beds in Thailand. I think it makes them easier to clean. The pillows were premium quality and made up for it. I slept really well. rooms are super basic, But I had everything that I needed. Bathroom had a shelf to put stuff on, room had a couple tables, a chair, and even a desk to work on. The only complaint I really have about this place is that the Wi-Fi is not great. But, it was a good reason to get out of the house and there are some nice cafés around the area...

I've been here many times and unfortunately it's getting down year by year. I mean, rooms with AC are ok, but the others not so much: small, no accessories at all. Prices are growing up a little bit, but I'd say that is common. The thing I dislike the most are the workers at the reception. They made the hall as their home. Food every time and everywhere, noises despite rooms with sleeping guests at the ground floor, children, music by their smartphones, objects spread every where and, most of everything, their are not nice at all. You can hardly have a smile by them and please don't ask them anything more because they are ready to show you how much you're bothering them with your stupid requests. I would like more professional workers here because neither the prices, nor anything else is better than other guest houses nearby and it's easy to take...

Not all the rooms have AC so be careful about that when you book so you are not surprised. I read some of the reviews beforehand so was not expecting much but the location felt very inconvenient to me. You can take a boat taxi from the pier but that stops running around 6:30/7 so then you’ll be stuck taking Grab or Bolt to get back because it’s super far from the metro.

Bed is very hard. The WiFi was really bad and at one point my outlets were not working- I left the room and came back and it was resolved luckily. Staff was nice but I would not recommend based on location and internet issues. May be helpful for hotel to have a transport guide to know how...
