Adhere The 13th Blues Bar — Restaurant in Wat Sam Phraya Subdistrict

I love this bar cus its kinda hard to find that vibe in Bangkok.The drinks were fine mostly ,long island cocktail tastes quite good and the food is great enough for the price.So yeah i love that bar and the musicians that come to play their instruments (idk how many of them exactly cus they have different schedules) Heres the part i want to tell I’ve been going there for like 3rd time(last night). The bartender was impatient when i told him I wanna pay for my drink (not knowing my friend hasn’t paid for her drink yet)So yeah he shouted at me like in Mad voice that i have to pay for 2 drinks for like 3 times which is unnecessary i came here to pay and he shouted me for not knowing my fris hasn’t paid yet 😂 N i paid for 2 drinks at once ,i was soo mad actually and also that lady stuff too she always looking hard like we even smile at her everytime we see.She even ignore when ny fri called her to order I mean she little passed just in front of our tables and my fri was calling her everyone can hear but she ignored.Only on the third time she come to us.We understand that she’s tired but we came here to chill cus we were tired too not to get beef with her. Great music, average cocktails, and so-so service.

Well, I was in the mood to chill at a jazz bar while staying in BKK, and after trying a couple of places, Adhere Bar was next on my list.

Let me tell you prior continue. Adhere is not a Jazz bar. but they do have a great vibe there.

I asked the bartender about their signature cocktails, but the answer was vague and unclear. They didn't have Old Fashioned or Negroni that night, and the bartender suggested a Long Island Iced Tea instead. Not exactly what I was hoping for.

However, the musicians were absolutely spectacular. I had the pleasure of listening to a skilled fingerstyle guitarist and an amazing elder duo. Both of them really entertained the audience.

The service, on the other hand, was lacking. It seemed like the server didn't quite understand their duties, as their only focus was taking orders and delivering the check.

Overall, the experience was pleasant mainly because of the fantastic music. However, the cocktail options and service could use some improvement. If you're a music lover, it's worth a visit for the performances, but don't expect top-notch...

This is my favorite Cafe in Bangkok and one of my favorite in any country.

If you are a fan of the blues and other old time music this place is a must visit. The live music is good but the selection of recorded music that plays when performers aren't on their tiny stage is even better.

I don't know if it isbecause of the lingering lockdown restrictions but the menu has shrunk to include only a few dishes but that actually adds to the authenticity because they feature BBQ and burgers.
