We spent four nights here and loved it. Although it's on a main road which can make calling a taxi or tuk tuk out the front a little difficult, the location is very convenient. Walk 20m up the road and it is super easy to grab a taxi. The skytrain station is across the road, and most things in the business district are a 10-15 min easy walk away. The room was basic but a good size and it had everything that we needed. The ensuite was lovely and quite large. I found the bed a bit firm for my liking but it was still comfortable and huge. They provided a different breakfast every morning - one day it was eggs however you'd like them, another day waffles, another day bacon and egg rolls etc. They were all yummy and freshly cooked to your liking. They came with tea or coffee, extra toast and jam etc. The staff there are so friendly and helpful. Fook gave us great advice on where to go and how to get there. Similarly, the owner was lovely and she gave us a number of suggestions for things to do and where to go for dinner etc. The pool is a little godsend and is why I booked this place (I wanted a pool while we were away). We would come back hot and sweaty after being out most of the day. We'd pour a drink and take a dip and it was a lovely way to relax in the evenings and we had it to ourselves for some reason which made it seem all the more private. The setting, despite being in the middle of two main roads, was quiet and peaceful and we really loved it. The restored colonial property is beautiful and behind a gate off the main road, with a gorgeous garden welcoming you into the house. They have a resident beagle, Logan, who is so cute and is just an added pleasure (particularly for me as I was missing my own dogs while I was away). We will stay again when we next...

Read moreLoved staying here two times, while we visited Thailand. It really is a little oasis in the busy town of Bangkok! We were picked up at the airport and drop off was also arranged for us. Our room was lovely, clean and mostly quiet. They must have had special windows to make the rooms that quiet close to the big streets. The pool was a great plus. We enjoyed dipping in after walking around busy BKK. When we booked, I didn't think it was necessary, but in the end I was grateful for the opportunity to cool off a little, before going out for dinner or anything. Breakfast is a nice american one, you could also ask for asian, if you wanted to. They have a great dog, Logan, who greets you and sometimes isn't too grumpy to play. The owners are really nice and helpful, we got a lot of advice and explanations for our tours around Bangkok. We will definitely be...
