Not Worth the Hype – Far from Relaxing

This was supposed to be a “relaxing” program, but it was anything but. The setup is just one big room with curtains as dividers, so you can hear everything—conversations, footsteps, hair dryers, water splashing. Every time the staff touched my hair, I had to endure loud “klonking” sounds from the shower head hitting the sink, which kept waking me up.

The so-called massage was barely even a touch—more like a light sweep over the head or hand with almost no pressure. It didn’t feel like a massage at all. To make it worse, the staff had a candy in her mouth while doing my hair, and I could hear her sucking on it the entire time. And to add to these disappointments, the water is cold most times. It feels like an hour long hair wash program more than a “relaxing head spa”.

I paid nearly 2,000 baht for this and left feeling more irritated than relaxed. Definitely not...

I had the most wonderful experience at Calmy Corner Head Spa. The space itself is beautifully designed to make you feel calm and relaxed as soon as you walk in. The head spa treatment was beyond my expectations—the scalp massage was deeply soothing, and I could feel the tension melt away. The facial was just as incredible. The esthetician took the time to understand my skin concerns and tailored the treatment perfectly. My skin felt clean, hydrated, and glowing afterward, with noticeable improvements in texture and tone.

I made a call to check the availability before going. The LQBTQ receptionist confirmed that there is only one available slot which is 5PM (I called around 15.38) so I double confirmed cause I will go have light dinner beforehand.

At 16.55, I arrived as booked. The same receptionist (I guess the same because I can remember his voice) said sth wrong with the booking so I have to come back at 7PM. Well, ai managed to quickly do everything so that I can get here by 5PM but just saying that the admin messed up.

I don't give 1 star cause at least they offered a free wash and dry service which it is not what I want.
