We stayed in Premium Deluxe Executive room for 5 nights. Everything was great, we received excellent service from hotel staff in both common area and Executive lounge. The location is perfect, connected to BTS, closed to 7-11 which is very convenient, and closed to my favourite local restaurant. The room itself was spectacular, we got very nice view from our room, big bed, daybed, and lovely bathroom with bathtub. The aircon, though, was not cold to our expectations, and we could hear loud noise from the next door all the time as it looked like a connecting room with another room, we could hear them and the kids through the door. We got a lovely card and welcoming cake for our honeymoon occasion, thank to all the staff for signing the card for us... it was very lovely welcome from you all. At the end of our stay. We checked out early (6:00am), and we called the lobby to send someone to collect our luggage to the lobby downstairs. We bumped into the bellman, so we greeted him, telling him our room number and thank him for coming up. After check out completed, we came downstairs. The same bellman said to me "I was scared if someone was in that room, so I had to knock the door before to make sure".... Well, I didn't quite understand why'd he say that to me when I told him my room number and thanked him for coming up when we saw him as he came out of the lift. This made us feel judged and disrespected because we looked younger or whatever reason that made him believe that we didn't belong to the executive room. We loved that your staff were friendly and pay attention to hotel guests, however, they should be trained to mind their own business. Overall, it was a great journey and stay at Eastin Grand Sathorn, we might come back again for our future stay.

Just came back from a 4-day stay at Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok and I gotta say, this hotel really impressed me! Location-wise, it's super strategic. The hotel is directly connected to the BTS Skytrain at Surasak Station, so getting around the city was a breeze. From the moment I checked in, the reception staff were amazing. Super friendly, always smiling and they were really accommodating with all of my requests (and trust me, I had quite a few 😂). About the breakfast buffet, soooo many choices, from Western to Asian dishes, with great taste. What stood out the most was the special halal food corner, which made things so much easier for Muslim guests like me. I also really appreciated how the hotel handles safety and privacy. Like other 5-star hotels, you need a key card to access any floor. But what makes Eastin Grand different is that if you have friends coming over, the receptionist will call you first for permission before letting anyone up. And the best part? If you order food from outside (not in-room dining), they personally bring it to your room, no need to go down and pick it up yourself. Super convenient and secure! The room itself was awesome, very modern and digitalised. You can make requests or bookings through hotel app or even via TV. The smart TV also had Netflix, casting and other streaming options. Only small downside was that the room was a bit warm at times, but it didn’t bother me too much. Overall, the five-star treatment was consistent from start to finish. Highly recommend Eastin Grand Sathorn if you are looking for comfort, convenience and top-notch service during your Bangkok trip!

Eastin Grand Sathorn is one of those rare hotels that strikes the perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and quiet elegance. Its most brilliant feature is the private skybridge that links directly to the BTS Skytrain—meaning you can glide into the heart of Bangkok without ever facing the city’s notorious traffic. That alone makes it a jewel for travelers. The hotel itself is polished and contemporary, with a sense of understated luxury. Rooms are spacious, thoughtfully designed, and offer sweeping views of the skyline or the Chao Phraya River, depending on your side. Beds are heavenly, the kind you sink into after a day of exploring, and bathrooms feel more like spa sanctuaries than hotel facilities. Breakfast deserves its own love letter: a lavish buffet that caters to every palate, from Thai specialties to international classics, all fresh and beautifully presented. The staff ensure your coffee is never cold and your plate never empty, always with the kind of gracious service Thailand is famous for. The infinity pool, perched high above the city, is a showstopper. Floating there with Bangkok stretching out beneath you is an experience you won’t forget. It’s both glamorous and serene, the perfect pause from the city’s buzz. Add to this the impeccable service—attentive without being intrusive—and you have a hotel that not only delivers but delights. Whether you’re in Bangkok for business or leisure, Eastin Grand Sathorn feels like a sanctuary woven seamlessly into the fabric of the city.

I am not satisfied with this hotel. My preferences are a good and enjoyable breakfast. And a restaurant with good food. Reason - I am German - and I do not like streetfood so much. My belly...

First, the rooms are according to the 5 star and prices are standard. Some long hairs on the floor, but ok. Beds are comfy and the bathroom looks nice.

When I entered the hotel the reception tried to upsell my room booking. That was not a nice experience. Even when the room is not available at the moment. They have a nice lobby and could wait. My wife came one day later and she did not even got a welcome drink. Little things you will always remember.

Further more and that is my no go. It was my breakfast experience. The bf-room has lot of noise. So if you expect a comfortable atmosphere do not go there. When you look at the walls you will understand quickly. All tables have problems to stay tight and strong on the ground. Welcome to Titanic. Almost impossible to keep your coffee in your cup. Also some chairs are shaking as well. Back to coffee. And this is very personel. I did not like the beans. A change between coffee and espresso did not bring a new experience. They use the same beans for all coffee types. Not 5 star like and not correct. ok. I asked them if the lobby restaurant has different beans. You have to pay extra and I hoped there will be a better quality. No same there. Only upstair in the executive lounge they have better beans. So no way for me.

One more thing is the traffice at the egg station. You wait and wait... and when it is your turn and order omlette well done, then they do not take the table number from you to bring. That was told to me. When I tried my omlette it was not well done, but full of liquid from the eggs. I returned it. Omlette is not made by fresh eggs in front of you. They have a big bowl with egg liquids. No idea what is all inside. So you understand that I am not happy with this hotel. I also communcated this to the staff. They are nice, but not management.

The pools is great. Wow, cool water and not salty. Well done. Unfortunately music is a little bit lound. Can be annoying for some.

The gym is well maintained, clean and well equipped. For normal people, so me. I am not Schwarzenegger.

The food choice is not my story. After my first order chicken schnitzel I brought it out in the night again. What ever it has been. No idea. Second order I wanted some pasta with bolognese. Bolognese is not fresh made. No problem for me if it has a good taste. But I had to cancel because of garlic inside. the original recepie is without garlic. But ok. I changed to Pizza. I do not want to be too negative now. So take a guess about the qualitiy.

It was a try worth with this hotel. So many give it a very good rating. People are different and have different expectations.

Staff is very nice. Like at most places in Thailand. Location is for sky train access perfect. They have direct walk...

These were our 2nd and 3rd times in this hotel in Bangkok. Even though we were generally happy with the stay, there were several points which spoilt our experience here, which might result for us into choosing a different option for our next stay in the city. Most of the staff is still very friendly and professional, ready to go an extra mile to make the guests happy. However, this does not seem to be applied to everybody. Being checked-in in the executive lounge is nice, while making several mistakes when filling in the registration form is not very much professional. Packaged pineapple juice as a welcome drink? Quite an uninspiring choice for Thailand. Even though still in good condition, the rooms we were allocated were already in places screaming for a touch-up. The laundry and the bedding should definitely be improved since having stains and little holes in the sheets is not something one expects from a 5 star hotel. We would also have to warn the reader about the executive rooms. We are not sure whether it was just our bad luck and we were just allocated with the rooms which were quite noisy (we could hear the traffic practically the whole night long), but we cannot recollect the same memories about staying the their upper floor rooms 4 years ago. The water pressure seems to vary from room to room and does not seem to be related to the floor you are staying at. The biggest disappointment for us, however, was the quality of the cleaning and the terrible smell in one of our rooms (which seem to have been originating from the drain). After asking the staff several times to fix the problem with the smell and the unsuccessful attempt of an engineer to deal with the problem, a different room of a higher standard was allocated to us. Even though the room provided a better view and more space, the cleaning was just hideous. After putting my cellphone on a white marble-topped table in the room, I found some pieces of a chewing gum stuck to the case of my phone. We have immediately reported the problem to the people in the executive lounge, who volunteered to clean the case and send the housekeeping staff to the room. In the evening, after getting back to our room from the city, we noticed some pieces of plastic under the sink in the bathroom and also some dirty stains in the shower. We were very upset, but decided not to contact the reception staff regarding this situation. On the positive site, we still think that the location of the hotel is very convenient, that most of the staff is doing an immaculate job. We were still very pleased with the breakfast buffet and the lunch in the restaurant on the 14th floor. The fitness equipment is decent for a holiday workout and spending some time in the executive lounge during the sunset is definitely worth paying extra. Would we get back to this hotel for our next time in Bangkok? Not very much sure since, we believe, that the cleanliness is one of the key...

From 18 June 2025 to 20 June 2025, I stayed at the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn.

LOCATION The hotel is located in the Sathorn district, which is Bangkok’s central business area. The location is central within Bangkok. The hotel has a direct connection to the BTS Skytrain, which makes travelling by public transport very easy. Due to its central location and the business district setting, the hotel is situated on a busy street where traffic jams are common. However, once inside the building, you don’t notice any of this.

ROOM I stayed in the Premium Executive Deluxe Room with Lounge access. This room type is located on the corner of the building on one of the higher floors. The room also features a separate sitting area with a desk. The bathroom is stunning, equipped with both a shower and a bathtub. As part of the premium package, I had access to the Executive Lounge, which was a real added value (see more under 'Food & Drink').

FOOD & DRINK The breakfast buffet in the main restaurant is extensive and of high quality, offering both Thai and international options. As an Executive guest, you also have the option to enjoy breakfast in the Executive Lounge, which feels calmer and more exclusive. Throughout the day, complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks are available there. Between 17:30 and 19:30, there is an open bar serving wine, beer, spirits, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres all included. This was a fantastic extra and made the premium package absolutely worth it. The rooftop bar and restaurant also looked great, although I didn’t have dinner there.

SERVICE Executive guests benefit from a separate check-in area in the Executive Lounge, which was quick and personal — a very pleasant welcome after a long trip. Room service was excellent: fast, accurate, and the cocktails were tasty and neatly presented. Housekeeping was also outstanding: the room was cleaned thoroughly each day, with great attention to detail.

STAFF Very friendly and professional staff throughout the hotel. Everyone speaks good English and is always ready to help. The service feels sincere and warm, contributing to a truly comfortable stay.

FACILITIES The infinity pool overlooking Bangkok’s skyline is a highlight, although it can get crowded during peak times. The fitness centre is well-equipped and clean. The Executive Lounge is quiet, comfortable, and a great place to work or relax.

Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn is an excellent choice for travellers looking to combine luxury, comfort and convenience in the heart of Bangkok. The upgrade to a Premium Executive Room with Lounge access is absolutely worth it. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the warm...
