Life Span Hotel — Hotel in Beyoğlu

Incredibly poor and unprofessional customer service by the staff. I asked them twice if I could check in early and they said it was ok. I even asked this several weeks in advance.

Showed up in the morning but nobody was at the front desk and all the lights were off. Phoned the number and some guy said someone will be there in ten minutes.

The housekeeper shows up and tells me my room would be ready in 30 minutes. One hour passed and I asked if it was ready. She then ignored me and I demanded her to give me an answer. She then rudely says 45 minutes but still wasn't ready. I ended up waiting for more than three hours to get checked in. I ended up leaving a few hours later because the room was much smaller than advertised and their service was god awful.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Nobody is ever at the front desk if you need something. The housekeeper needs to learn some professionalism...

This was by far the worst hotel experience of my life. The floor was dirty, and the bed linen was covered in mold. On the first night, we couldn’t sleep because of the strong mold odor, combined with the loud noise from bars and clubs nearby.

We asked at reception if we could switch rooms, and they showed us other rooms, but they were just as bad, if not worse. Some were filled with cigarette smoke. One of the reception staff told us we could move to another hotel owned by the same chain in Harbiye, but we’d have to pay an extra €10 per night for a room with a balcony. We reluctantly agreed.

The next day, we switched hotels. The balcony door was left open, so we didn’t notice the mold smell right away, but as soon as we closed the door, the smell came back. This hotel was also filthy, and to make matters worse, it had...

Room was nothing like the advertised pictures. The fridge was unplugged, the Stairs case to reach the room was a very steep and narrow. Moisture on wall and Musty smells in the room. The bathroom light not working. I couldn't bring myself to stay and ended up leaving very shortly for another hotel. i asked for refund for the rest of the nights they refuse to give me back even it is a small part of money that i have payed. I lost 90$ after many up-and-down he gives only 30$ but better to lose some money than to stay at bad room where i cant sleep and rest properly.
