SARAH SUITE — Hotel in Beyoğlu

Me and my friends were supposed to stay in Sarah Suite for 3 night. More or less 10 days before our arrival, they deleted our reservation and they said they could arrange for a new reservation. Because they created the problem, we asked for a room change. They said it was possible, but we had to pay 200€ more. We declined the offer, because they deleted the reservation and not us. With the mediation of the booking agency, we had the agreement for the room change without any charge. When we arrived there, they asked us 60€, at the beginning for a not existing "new years eve tax" and then, talking with another person of the hotel, they said it was for the room change. They tried in ay way to have more money. We declined and we asked for the refound through the booking agency. The reception girl was totally unable to speak in English, while the person we talked by phone was overbearing and aggressive. I asked her several time to let me talk, because she was interrupting me every second.||||I do not suggest this hotel, search for others were the personnel could be at least more polite...

Die Bilder im Internet von Sarah Suites haben etwas vorgetäuscht, was gar nicht existierte. Das Bad war der reinste Horror: eine verschimmelte Dusche, Die Steckdose des unbrauchbaren Föns hing halb aus der Wand, die Türzarge war kaputt und zu allem Übel stand bei unserer Ankunft noch der offene Eimer mit dem von den vorherigen Gästen benutztem stinkigen Klopapier im Bad. Warmes Wasser gab es zunächst auch nicht.In der Küchenzeile existierte für 4 Personen: ein riesiger alter Kochtopf, 4 Teller, 2 Becher, mehrere Gabeln , ein Glas und ein Löffel.||In der Rezeption war in den drei Tagen, die wir dort waren,nur einmal einsehr hilfsbereiter junger Mann anzutreffen, der Englisch sprach. Eine Verständigung mit den anderen Rezeptionisten war unmöglich.||Neben all diesen unerfreulichen Details gab es aber zwei lobenswerte Dinge anzumerken.Die Fußböden waren sauber, ebenso die bequemen Betten.||Natürlich würden wir aber nie wieder dieses Hotel buchen.||Die Fußböden waren sauber, ebenso die...

Very Clean and tidy place! Everything was nice and comfortable. Only the management can understand English but explaining can be a task. Very helpful and friendly people working there. Next time if i am in Taksim...
