HOTEL MEKKE — Hotel in Fatih

Such a HORRIBLE hotel !!!I don’t recommend it at all, I stayed there with my family last week, it was a nice trip but this hotel is/was the worst hotel I’ve ever seen in my life The people who work there are kinda sweet and helpful except the who works at the breakfast court , she’s so bad and very rude , the rooms are so old and small , there’s no good room service, the bathroom is too bad and old , the water smells and tastes so weird and bad , for example , I had a shower , just 5 minutes after I got out of the shower my body smelled so bad and got red , my eyes stared to tear and got red too and I got ill, the breakfast is kinda bad , there are no good options , there’s no AC in the reception of the restaurant( actually it’s a small court and not a restaurant) and the AC in the rooms is so bad , we had to change the rooms twice because of that , the elevator is so old , small and risky. When we arrived the area was congested, it took us about an hour to reach the hotel and we couldn’t recognize the hotel because as per the booking the hotel location is in Fatih but actually the hotel location is in aksaray area which is for cargo and industrial area and it’s not a Family area or family hotel.I spent just 10 minutes and decided that I cannot stay here. The rooms are small there is no space to move and it is dirty and smells bad. Within 10 minutes I left to search for another hotel but unfortunately I had to forcibly spend a night there. The very next morning I had breakfast because I had paid for 8 nights and didn’t get any refund I had their breakfast which was decent and left for my new hotel which was Kent hotel in Fatih area and they were very helpful and friendly with me. I stayed in the hotel for one week with my brother. The hotel is fine, especially for arabs. The service was incredible. The receptionist Raşat was very friendly and he can speak both English and Arabic. The room was a bit small but very clean. Breakfast was delicious and many options are available (eggs, omlette, sausages, vegetables, chocolate cake, butter, cereal, etc) and the servant Taki always make sure that no one complains about food. The location is perfect if you want to use metro or tram or bus. However, the room view is bad and you will get bothered by car noise. Also the wifi is not the best but it's ok. Overall, here is how I rate the hotel out of 5.
