Mudem Butik — Hotel in Fatih

We booked a 3 night stay through Hotels.com. Received an email for the booking. As we couldn't locate the hotel decided to call, NO ONE WOULD ANSWER. A local assisted us to find the place. The hotel was in a VERY BAD AREA. When the owner saw us by the hotel, doors closed, got on his phone and said I will get you a receptionist, he asked us not to cancel. It was too late by then, due to a dangerous location of the hotel we told him willcancel. Immediately I contacted Hotels.com, they also tried to calland were unsuccessful, I asked for a different booking, was transfered. Was speaking to a Myrna, now she wanted to call the hotel, still couldn't speak to anyone. She was NOT willing to give credit for the money we paid towards another booking. Now, must wait for an email to be sent to the. No supervisor to assist. IF APPROVED, I will get my money back in 7 to 10 business days. I had to pay more money to get a booking through a different site STAY AWAY FROM MUDEM BUTIK HOTEL. Not sure what happens to the guests when there is NO ONE at the hotel,...

The rooms are fine BUT 1- the place feels so fishy and sketchy 2- their reception is 500 meters away 3- if you want anything you you have to go there 4- although they claim the place is safe, it doesn’t feel safe at all 5- the room was a coffee shop and they converted it to a hotel room. 6- wasn’t so clean as well. Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr schlechten Gegend, die auf uns einen unsicheren und fast schon kriminellen Eindruck gemacht hat. Bereits einen Tag vor dem geplanten Check-in haben wir versucht, den Besitzer zu kontaktieren, um Details zu klären. Leider erhielten wir erst sehr spät eine Antwort und wurden anschließend von einer Telefonnummer zur nächsten weitergeleitet. Insgesamt mussten wir 3–4 verschiedene Nummern anrufen, um überhaupt jemanden zu erreichen.

Beim Check-in selbst herrschte große Unordnung: Der Herr, der uns das Zimmer zeigen sollte, wusste nicht einmal, ob das Zimmer bereits belegt war. Er musste erst hineingehen, um nachzusehen. Dieser ganze Prozess hat viel zu lange gedauert und war alles andere als professionell.

Zusätzlich war die Dusche eiskalt – duschen war kaum möglich, ohne dabei fast einen Gehirnfrost zu bekommen. Auch dieser Punkt hat den Aufenthalt erheblich verschlechtert.

Insgesamt ein sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt – wir würden dieses Hotel definitiv nicht...
