I was not going to post this negative review but the third straw broke the camels back. My first day in the room I noticed a used soap bottle with a cap in the sink and a used towel. It gave me the germaphobia and made me wonder if the pillows and sheets are clean to but I said bismillah and ignored it. I told the front desk on my way out to get a bite and when I came back they put the soap bottle away and replaced the used towel.

That night and the three nights after I realized the air conditioning in the room did not work, only heat did and on the 4th floor it was extremely hot. I left the window open and ignored it, but doing so made it very loud at night with traffic noise and hard yo sleep. Had no choice.

But the day I was so angry and stormed out was when they had no internet and made it impossible to be on two zoom meetings and answer work emails. I was told since the morning it would be up in 10 minutes until I got sick of their lies by 10pm. I went down to the lobby to use the wifi and book another hotel down the block.

One of my worst hotel experiences in istanbul. The only good thing about this hotel was the very nice and thorough cleaning lady.

By the way, not one apology until after I stormed out and returned to check out. Not about the uncleaned bathroom and not about internet until after it...

🇹🇷 Uyarı – Son Derece Güvenilmez Bir Otel, Kesinlikle Tavsiye Etmiyorum! Başta her şeyin ödendiği ve halledildiği söylendi – hem de defalarca sormamıza rağmen. Başta güvende olduğumuzu düşündük. Ancak konaklamanın sonunda aniden ödeme istenildi: 4 gece için 370 euro.

Özellikle İbrahim adındaki bir çalışan, son derece yalancı ve iki yüzlü davrandı. Otel yönetimi ve erkek çalışanlar ise oldukça agresif ve kaba idi. Beni saatlerce alıkoyup baskı uygulayarak parayı ödemeye zorladılar. Kendimi o an çaresiz ve yalnız hissettim ama kandırılmak istemedim.

Sonunda kendimi korumak adına yarısını ödedim ve otelden ayrıldım – sadece “polis çağırabilirsiniz” diyerek çıktım. Hâlâ bu olayı hatırladıkça öfkeleniyorum.

Tüm masum turistleri buradan uzak durmaları konusunda uyarıyorum! Bu otelden uzak durun! Tek iyi insanlar, mutfak ve temizlik görevlisi kadınlardı – saygılı ve kibar davrandılar. Diğerleri ise misafirperverlikten tamamen uzak – gerçek bir hayal kırıklığıydı.

🇬🇧 Warning – Extremely Untrustworthy Hotel, Absolutely Not Recommended! At the beginning, we were told everything had already been paid for and taken care of – even after asking multiple times. We felt safe at first. But at the end of the stay, I was suddenly asked to pay: €370 for 4 nights, despite being told otherwise before.

One employee in particular, Ibrahim, turned out to be dishonest and deceitful. The hotel management and the male staff were extremely aggressive and rude. They held me for hours and pressured me to pay the money. I felt completely helpless and lost, but I didn’t want to let them scam me.

In the end, I paid half just to get out of the situation and told them they were free to call the police. I’m still angry when I think about it.

I want to warn all innocent tourists: Stay far away from this hotel! The only people I want to defend are the women working in the kitchen and housekeeping – they were polite and respectful. Everyone else showed zero hospitality – a truly terrible experience.

German: Vorsicht – extrem unseriöses Hotel, absolut keine Empfehlung!

Am Anfang wurde uns alles als bereits bezahlt und erledigt mitgeteilt – und das trotz mehrmaligem Nachfragen. Wir fühlten uns zunächst sicher. Doch am Ende des Aufenthalts wurde ich plötzlich zur Kasse gebeten: 370 Euro für 4 Nächte, obwohl das vorher anders kommuniziert wurde.

Besonders ein Mitarbeiter namens Ibrahim hat sich dabei als sehr verlogen und hinterlistig herausgestellt. Die Hotelleitung und die männlichen Angestellten waren aggressiv, unfreundlich und haben mich regelrecht stundenlang festgehalten und unter Druck gesetzt, das Geld zu zahlen. Ich fühlte mich in dem Moment hilflos und verloren, aber wollte mich auf keinen Fall betrügen lassen.

Letztlich habe ich aus Selbstschutz die Hälfte bezahlt und bin gegangen – mit den Worten, sie könnten gerne die Polizei rufen. Bis heute bin ich wütend, wenn ich daran zurückdenke.

Ich möchte hiermit alle unschuldigen Touristen dringend warnen: Macht einen großen Bogen um dieses Hotel! Die einzige positive Ausnahme waren die Frauen aus der Küche und der Zimmerreinigung, die höflich und respektvoll waren. One of the worst hotels i’ve been to in my life as a frequent traveler; avoid if you can.

There’s only a single employee that’s available throughout the day in the entire hotel. (Besides housekeeping) They don’t change bedsheets. Breakfast is poor. They only have a single broken iron in the entire hotel. Housekeeping are extremely rude, and they dig into your stuff without permission. Towels and bedsheets are dirty and ripped. Terrible communication. Language barrier was a problem. Terrible management: they mixed our rooms when we checked in. Rooms are extremely tight in space. Air conditioners don’t function properly. The hallway’s ceiling was dripping water during our entire stay. Instead of fixing it, they placed a bucket under. Weird room design where you can see people in the bathroom. One of our rooms was a double regular room. They gave us a honeymoon room instead which was weird for a group of friends. Their definitions of extra bed in the room is throwing a mattress on the floor.

I would NOT recommend this...
