This is the first time I am feeling such desperate in a restaurant, I saw many ads about the breakfast and how rich and extra delicious one but the shock was when i went there, Starting from the staff moving to food quality and quantity ending with the restaurant equipment. We ordered the Serpme breakfast for two persons but sine i am with my two kids 7 and 13 years they said we need to add one person. When the dishes arrived it was only for two and when i asked for the third one they said it is the same for two or three which is really disappointing and a kind of deceiving. Anyway the food was as if i am in a refugee camp small samples of honey, olive and cucumber Dishes was dirty and old with a lot of broken parts The staff was in a terrible conditions not suitable for such a place I don't recommend anyone to visit the restaurant for breakfast, i have no idea about the other menus but i can guess For me as a regular visitor for Turkish restaurants like big chief or Gurme Unfortunately They are more professional...

I had a wonderful experience at Layale Shamiye Bosphorus مطعم ليالي شامية البوسفور! The restaurant offers an authentic taste of Syrian cuisine right by the Bosphorus, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere perfect for family gatherings and casual meals with friends.

The dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The hummus was creamy, the grilled meats were perfectly seasoned, and the fresh bread was delightful. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed.

What made the visit extra special was the beautiful view of the Bosphorus, adding a relaxing backdrop to a delicious meal. The restaurant is clean, family-friendly, and offers a cozy ambiance with traditional decor that makes you feel like you’re back in Damascus.

If you’re looking for a place in Istanbul to enjoy authentic Syrian food with great service and a stunning view, I highly recommend Layale Shamiye Bosphorus. I look forward to...

We came to the Layali Shamiya restaurant in the New Branch in Balat. The location is amazing, right next to the shore! You will love the atmosphere, the weather, the view, and the overall vibe.

They served us vine leaves, zucchini stuffed with rice, kibbeh with yogurt, lentil soup, and fried kibbeh.

The dessert was a waffle, which my daughter loved.

The food was generally good, but the vine leaves could have used more seasoning, and the ribs as well. The lentil soup would have been better with slices of lemon served alongside it.

The service was a bit slow, but the dish presentation and the taste of the food was great, making it worth the wait.

The prices are considered high, but for the location and the type of food, it is worth it.

The restaurant consists of two indoor halls and an outdoor terrace. They also host music nights, so you can come and enjoy the Arabian music.

It's the perfect place for families.

Overall, I would highly recommend...

This is by far the best Middle eastern restaurant in Istanbul, both by atmosphere and food. It's location is perfect, allowing to have a wonderful view over Bosporus from their spacios and pleasant terrace. Food is very tasty and portions were quite big, even for my Balkan standards which are hard to beat. We focused on Syrian cuisine and it was very, very tasty. Service was pleasant and quick. We came on Sunday at 15h, but for some reason they only served their famous breakfast which we didn't want although it looked very good. The waiter asked us yo consult with kitchen if they could prepare us main dishes which they prepare only for the evenings, and they agreed. Very forthcoming gesture from his side. Prices are arround 1000l lira per person, including food and drinks. I highly recommend the place and will come back here again for sure.
