Balloon View Hotel — Hotel in Göreme

The overall stay was quite nice. The rooms where clean and the housekeeping passed everyday and replenished the towels and water bottles. The breakfast provided was decent although a few options were not refilled once finished for example fruits. We also booked the red and green tour with them which was fair. The location is great right by the city center and a walkable distance to restaurants and shops. A few points could definitely be improved: We stayed for 3 days in room 104. There is a very strong sewage smell coming constantly from the bathroom. We tryed to open the window to help but there was no screens installed. The window was facing a balcony so we couldn’t leave them open during the day to ventilate the room/bathroom. The customer services were really basic and impersonal. We had our tours days switched without notice the morning of the tour (which didn’t cause any issues at the end but it would of been better to know). We asked information for the bus transfert to the airport, the lady in the morning told us that after our tour day, she could help us pay by card or get smaller change because you need to pay the driver the exact amount. We did not stop at the ATM for that reason. When we got back from the tour, we were told by the guy at the reception « unfortunately no » without any further information to help. The staff members are on the computer and phone and not interested in interacting with the customers. It did not fell warm and welcoming. We were offered to leave out bags on the couch at reception after check out to enjoy our booked tour. However, when we came back to the reception, our bags were sitting there on the couch and there wasn’t any employees in attendance for more than 15 minutes. A few points to note: The transfers to the airport cost 15 euros per person and you are expected to give the exact amount in cash to the driver. We booked both Red and Green tours with them. It was done in a small van with around 10 people. The guide was great. However, you will be taken into touristic traps and the meals included is also a tourists...

The breakfast spread was phenomenal, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, with options for every taste. The hotel’s location is perfect too close to charming shops, cozy cafes, and excellent restaurants, yet peaceful enough for a relaxing stay.

What made our experience even more special were the amazing tour deals facilitated by the hotel. Whether you’re interested in the Red, Green, or a mix tour, they have the best prices and hassle-free bookings.

Even after we checked out, the hospitality didn’t end. They kept our luggage safely, and after our tour, they welcomed us back warmly. They kindly allowed us to use the WC/toilet facilities and even offered us water, small gestures that made a big difference after a long day.

And we can’t forget to mention the host — truly exceptional in every way. Warm, helpful, and always ready with a smile, they made us feel like more than just guests.

This hotel is an absolute gem! The name says it all - the unobstructed view of the hot air balloons is simply breathtaking. Waking up to that magical sight is an experience I'll never forget. The hotel itself is tucked away in a peaceful spot, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle. Their rooftop terrace is the ideal place to enjoy a delicious Turkish breakfast while taking in the stunning views of Göreme. The variety of mezze was amazing, with plenty of fresh and flavorful options. And to top it off, the prices are very reasonable compared to other places we looked at. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Plus, the fact that they offer partnerships with local tours saved us a lot of time and hassle.

Overall, Balloon View Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Cappadocia. It offers exceptional value, amazing views, and outstanding service. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend it to friends and family!
