I don’t usually write reviews, but when I do, it’s because the food is truly exceptional—and Kore’de in Kadıköy is one of those places I’m proud to recommend!
As an Asian living in Türkiye, finding authentic Asian flavors can be quite a challenge. But Kore’de takes me right back to the tastes I grew up with.
The bibimbap is a standout—it’s rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Although I’m not Korean, I’ve been lucky to enjoy authentic Korean dishes in my home country, where we have a strong Korean community. Kore’de’s bibimbap captures that same authentic taste. The gochujang sauce is spot-on, and the generous serving size makes it even better.
The bulgogi kimbap is another highlight for me. The hint of sesame oil gives it the perfect kick, something I’ve rarely found in other Korean restaurants here. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in achieving that genuine Korean flavor.
And let’s talk about the cheese tteokbokki—absolutely delicious! While the rice cakes could be slightly firmer to add more texture, they’re still wonderfully chewy, and the sauce is incredible. Honestly, the sauce alone is worth coming back for.
On top of the amazing food, the customer service at Kore’de is superb! The staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better.
Kore’de has nailed authentic Korean cuisine, and their friendly service is the cherry on top. I can’t wait to return for more. If you’re craving real Korean food, this is the place to go!
Proof how it really is good is it is too good we forgot to take food pics while we're here. We just went...
Read moreOverall, the experience is kinda mid the three times I went there. In the menu when I bought the noodles, it simply said spicy sauce. However, when served, they were way sweeter than anything I've ever tasted. I was expecting something spicy, but it was just sugary sweet and gross. I only took two bites before I asked the waitress to take it away. I stayed hungry instead. The atmosphere was nice, but that was the only good thing about the restaurant. The second time I went there, I ordered something else with rice. The rice was bland and mushy, perhaps overcooked. The rest was good though. Before we got served, I was asked to move to a worse seat simply because it had less chairs and we were only 2 people. But the thing is, I saw other groups of 2 sitting in table for 4. So why can't we? When I talked about this to another waitress, we went back to the seat we initially chose. I was still annoyed though. Anyway, the songs played here are all amazing, I loved them. I recommend the shrimp chips, and the rice cakes. The rice cakes in the dish...
Read moreIt's the worst Korean service I ever met in my life. I hope that they will be closed soon. I say Best Regards to the Boss of this Cafe. He brought baby chairs to this place but doesn't allow to sit on them. We came especially to Kadikoy to visit this restaurant but the officiant was not glad to see their guests. She didn't allow to get to the upper floor and didn't allow us to use baby seats. She told that these seats are the seats of boss children. With this service attitude I guess that they are not happy to see their guests and not happy to have children in their restaurant. We didn't want to stay in this restaurant with this lowest service. In the street there was a man who sharpened knives for that restaurant and it was totally uncomfortable to stay outside. All these factors say that the boss of this restaurant doesn't care of his guests. So guys don't come to him. Insallah the restaurant will be...
