CARE Holiday Homes Apartments Barsha Heights — Hotel in Dubai

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING HERE. I never leave reviews but I sincerely think this one might interest you before you book. This was honestly the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I'm an expat student and I spent a month at the Care Holidays Home, the staff are friendly, when it comes to basic requests like towels or everyday items, as soon as it comes to specific questions, the staff disappear. Our booking was blocked by the site, supposedly because their card machines don't work. We were therefore forced to pay in cash, which prevents us from having the protection and claims booking because in the eyes of the application, we do not exist, we exist only in the records of Care Holidays Home which clearly steals. Due to internal problems, the reason for which no-one has been able to explain to us, we have blocked access to the corridor light, to the swimming pool, which is open to all, and recently to the lift. These problems apply to every resident from the first to the sixth floor of the building. The staff are incompetent, unable to explain a problem and re-establish a solution. One of the worst stays ever in my life especially in comparison with Dubai standards, the housekeeping do not come to clean unless you ask for it and has to ask several times and if they do come they use one mop to clean the bathrooms, bedrooms and the kitchen very unhygienic and health hazardous, moreover they leave the floor extremely wet causing a very slippery floor for more than an hour, bathroom is leaking water, unprofessional staffing but they do have good attitude, uncovered parking spots for hotel and only 3 or 4 covered parking bays. Felt very unsafe as there was some people trying to open the door of my apartment without knocking (apparently by mistake) but still gives a feeling of insecure.

On the other hand, location is great in Tecom barsha heights, the apartment is spacious the furniture is acceptable some how.

Staying 10 days from UK. Spacious rooms, however smells from other rooms come through the vents : smoke farts; very unpleasant. Ok location , great to go and swim at their partner hotel Time Oak as the swimming pool here is dysfunctional. Basically the whole place is just running down. The gym treadmill now doesn't work properly. The cooker didn't work so they changed it but the next one was badly over heating. Entertainment ie TV is rubbish only 2 English speaking channels: showing 1980's films hence the children were especially very bored in the evenings. Leaks in the bathroom so the floor was always wet.
