Premier Inn Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel — Hotel in Dubai

Don’t know why this hotel has so many good reviews. Literally just come here if hygiene means nothing to you. I witnessed so many things I can’t even describe. House keeping not doing its job properly, and at the restaurants all tables I’ve sat were dirty - and when they come cleaning I had a waiter blowing off the crumbles with his mouth and just using a dry napkin 😂 WHAT?! plates not clean, in general not really friendly staff except for Ahmed at the reception and Farook from house keeping. When you tell them to clean properly they give you side eye and angry looks 😊 sorry but please hire people whose understanding of hygiene is from this world. Also, First I had a room with an EXTREME smell of smoke, although it was a non smoker room so I had to change it. When entering that room also there was DIRT on the floor!!!!!! Rooms are NOT soundproof. You can literally hear the neighbor snoring. I really don’t know what it is,why the workers also seem to be so unhappy but things definitely need to change at this place. Pool area is a joke, but lifeguard there is very friendly at least. Also needed to do a VERY urgent call to my home country and I was told there is NO Option to make intl calls from the reception or rooms. Like WHAT?! Where are we? In the middle of the jungle? and I almost forgot: upon arrival the receptionists saw that I had 3 pieces of luggage when being dropped of by the taxi and couldn’t carry all that on my own since God only created us with 2 arms and hands - and they literally kept STARING at me for minutes. Not offering any help. Then, 5 minutes later finally one of the receptionists made the move being so evil and said „ah, we don’t offer this service here“. What the?! I don’t need someone out of fun. I could not carry it as I only have two arms!!!! If I could, I would want all my money back. Sorry but this was just not nice...

water pressure problem inside bathroom that was not fixed the water pressure stopped completely while taking shower for 10 seconds then back again every one minute occurred. - Hot and cold water not mixing well when taking shower or open sink water mixer . Sometimes you have hot water and sometimes cold water ( this issue was not fixed ). After talking to reception they send maintenance team to check this problem. After checking for more than 1 hour they said this problem can not be fixed and you need to transfer to an other room. Reception told me to wait for a room to be cleaned and prepared after guest check out. Reception asked me to move to other room and I requested a help from hotel boy with trolly they said you need to carry your luggage and things by yourself as this service not available in this hotel!! After i carried my own things to new room there was very bad smell inside that i couldn’t stay inside room. After talking with reception they said this is the only room available and we can’t do anything with this bad smell. After I stayed in this room same issue occurred in previous room happened again in new room water pressure weakness and mixed hot and cold water together . Other water leakage in shower mixer was noticeable . Emergency light turned on suddenly at 2 am while sleeping and someone came with plaster tape to cover it and told me wait until tomorrow so maintenance team will check!!? Never ended problems in this hotel and no body cares about guests. I wonder how this hotel got good reviews here . Thats a Mystery . My son and I travelled to Dubai for the first time and stayed for 9 nights at this Primier Inn. Having been regular Primier Inn guests in England for over 10yrs it was a pleasure to see the standards of pleasant decor, cleanliness and modern conveniences being maintained with some wonderful extras including a beautiful scent, rooftop bar and pool, a very generous reception area with Costa a restaurant serving meals throughout the day etc. It's a great hotel for families. Each day we had 2 complimentary bottles of water in our room, a mini fridge, a safe and tea/coffee making facilities. The free wifi was great for social media uploads, streaming and browsing, but not wifi calls. The stay was excellent value for money. We opted out of breakfast as we knew instinctively that we needed a lie-in on some days to acclimatise to the high temperatures and time difference in Dubai. The hotel's location is fantastic, minutes away from shops, cafes, restaurants, groceries, and local buses and about 15 minutes walk to the Metro station. The complimentary beach and Metro station shuttle was not as accessible as we thought, so we made our own way! When we did have breakfast, it was of really good variety, though slightly less inexpensive than other food providers in the area. We would like to compliment the hard working room cleaning staff, with special mention to Wael, who was very attentive and cleaned our room to perfection when we needed him.
