I came to this place after seeing a video on Instagram promoting an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet for 79 AED. The video showed fresh, fish-packed, exotic rolls — what we got couldn’t have been further from that.
We arrived around 2:30 PM (offer runs until 4), were told to wait without being given any clear waiting time. Eventually, we were offered a regular table instead of the conveyor belt — but here’s the catch: we weren’t allowed to order from the menu or even ask staff for food. Instead, we had to get up, walk to the conveyor belt, and grab plates by literally reaching over other people who were eating. I brought this up to a staff member, and the answer was a careless “ya.”
Asked to speak to the manager, who at least acknowledged the issue and said he’d speak to the chef. He also claimed they asked the content creator to remove the video because it was misleading — yet it’s still online. That alone tells you a lot.
Eventually we were served a few plates at the table — every single roll had cream cheese in it. Not one roll without it. It wasn’t even a subtle amount — it was blocks of cream cheese drowning out everything else.
I asked to be moved to the belt once seats opened up. When they finally did, a couple walked in and were given the seat instead. I was right there when they were asked if they had a reservation — they said no. Still, the manager lied to my face and said they had booked.
Luckily, a family got up and left — visibly disappointed — and we took their spot. But even then, the area smelled bad, the table was dirty with used plates, and food left all over. Everything was served in cheap plastic — plastic forks, spoons, cups — like we were at a low-effort takeaway. I had to ask again for it to be cleaned.
The food coming around the belt? More cream cheese rolls. No variety. No fresh fish. Just the same recycled, low-effort rolls overloaded with cream cheese. I asked again if there’s anything that isn’t packed with it, and the manager said he’d sort something. That “something” arrived 45 minutes later, just before 4 PM — 8 tiny avocado-heavy rolls with barely a trace of salmon.
At this point we were starving, so I asked for one more round, and they said the buffet was closed. I reminded them I waited 45 minutes for the last plate and hadn’t even had a proper meal. They said the manager “wasn’t available” anymore. After more pushing, they brought out the exact same poor-quality rolls — another 45 minutes later.
In total: over an hour and a half of waiting, lies, horrible hygiene, and a complete scam of an offer. The food was bad, the service was worse, and the Instagram ad is pure clickbait.
This was not just a bad experience — it felt disrespectful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Not even if...
Read moreI came specifically for the unlimited sushi and left completely disappointed.
First of all, there was absolutely no sign anywhere in the restaurant mentioning that the unlimited sushi is only available until 4 PM. We arrived around 3 PM, expecting to enjoy it, and no one informed us about the timing. Then, without any notice, the conveyor belt just stopped moving and staff began collecting all the plates. We thought they were clearing things to put out a fresh batch since what was available at the time was mostly repetitive and honestly barely passable as sushi.
Instead, a staff member suddenly came to our table and asked us to pay, which felt like we were being told to leave. At no point did anyone explain what was happening. We later found out that tempura and miso soup were included in the unlimited sushi, but we were told those items were part of a different buffet that was not even available yet.
The staff overall were unfriendly and gave off a very judgy attitude, which made the whole experience even worse. On top of that, there were flies constantly flying around the conveyor belt, and many of the plates were broken, chipped, and falling apart, which is not what you expect when you are paying for an all-you-can-eat experience.
In the end, we paid 178 AED for less than 20 pieces of sushi, which made this entire experience feel like a complete waste of money.
This was supposed to be a fun sushi outing, but it ended up being frustrating, uncomfortable, and definitely not worth the price. I will not be coming back, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who actually enjoys good sushi and...
Read moreUpdate from 11 Nov 2024 This place is once again one of the worst Sushi restaurants I've visited. I had to fight to get any fish. On the belt there is very little tuna or salmon and lots of crab sticks.
I had to fight to get sashimi and nilgiri from the kitchen. Take a look and compare the photos of this visit compared to the last! I feel like I've gone through a worm hole.....
It's a rip off. If you like sushi with actual fish, this place is not for you.
OLD REVIEW FROM 2022. I was very happy to return for a meal with a colleague tonight. It was really good!
I returned to the Restaurant for a second time a couple of days ago. What a difference! I think they saw my previous review and had acted on it. Service was very good with the Manager Hannaica making a special effort to discuss everything. The food was also really good. The chef Rio made fresh sushi with salmon, shrimp, eel and tuna. No mayo and cream cheese insight. It was a much better experience. I will return and recommend this place. I hope they can maintain this high standard!
This is my original Review from 5 days ago. Not great. The only sushi restaurant I've ever been to that only had 2 types of fish, salmon and tuna. I had to ask the chef for the tuna. I think the chef trys hard but only has limited fresh fish. The staff tried to push crab stick sushi on me. No nigiri at all just rolls. Lots of mayonnaise and cheese on everything. Waiting staff weren't great either. I waited to be seated despite being the only person there. I actually entered to go and find someone in the end. Then my...
