I had a very disappointing experience second time at Sultan Al Arab in Barsha. I went there yesterday and ordered a grilled chicken and an Arabic meat shawarma, along with a Pepsi. Instead of what I ordered, they served me chicken shawarma. When I pointed out the mistake, the server insisted that I had ordered chicken shawarma, which was absolutely not true.

To make matters worse, the server’s attitude was extremely rude. I politely asked him to open the Pepsi for me since my nails were long, and instead of simply assisting, he just stared at me. When he finally opened it, he said, “Are you happy now?” in a very sarcastic and unprofessional tone, then walked away.

I tried to explain again that I didn’t receive the correct order, but was dismissed and told I had made the mistake. Let’s be honest — when someone pays for food, why would they order something they didn’t want to eat? The behavior of the server was unacceptable, and when I raised the issue with the manager, he was no better. The entire interaction escalated because of their lack of professionalism and disrespectful attitude.

I left feeling angry, unheard, and disrespected. This is by far one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I genuinely regret visiting. I am considering taking further action due to the terrible treatment I received. I recently dined at Sultan Al Arab restaurant located in Nada building, Al Barsha, Dubai, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant's location is convenient, with ample parking available behind the building, which is always a plus in Dubai.

The first thing that impressed me was the reasonable pricing. Sultan Al Arab offers great value for money, especially considering the quality of their Turkish cuisine. The taste of their dishes was fantastic, and I highly recommend trying their Sultan Shawarma and Arabic Shawarma—truly mouthwatering!

While the restaurant excelled in many aspects, there were a couple of areas that didn't quite meet my expectations. The juices, although refreshing, were on the sweeter side, which might not suit everyone's taste. Additionally, the Motabbal, a classic Middle Eastern dip, fell short of my expectations. It lacked the authentic flavors and texture that I was hoping for.

However, these minor setbacks were overshadowed by the highlights of Sultan Al Arab. Their grills were flavorful and cooked to perfection, while the manakeesh was a true delight. The menu offers a variety of options that cater to different preferences, ensuring there's something for everyone.

When I landed in UAE 18 years back, first Arabic food which I had was shawarma. I was not fond of non-veg but to my surprise I loved this arabic food.

Recently I have been coming across many of the longest shawarma posts and it was catching my eyes continuously. As a result, it tempted me a lot and made me to visit @sultanalarab.ae .ae which is just one street away from my home.

I regretted a lot that I missed this Arabic restaurant for so many days. Food I ordered was too tasty and divinely delicious. You may try anything from here from their menu.

I ordered, 20” Shawarma, Fatayer and Hummus & Quboos. Shawarma was too yummy, juicy & delicious and the bread was too soft that melts when we take a bite.

Fatayer was very fresh and soft with labneh, pista and honey. Just love this combination, still I could feel the taste. Please don’t miss to try this 🫶🏼

Prices are very reasonable and the service is very quick. You get ample RTA parking behind, so I suggest you to park your car, visit the restaurant and have the freshly made food rather ordering for takeaway. They are also expanding the shop for customers to relax and have their food.
