Read moreThe hotel says it’s 4 to 5 stars but I wouldn’t even compare it to that, the room they show online on their website and other third party websites is completely different to how it is in real life the room is so small the sheets are poor quality and come off during the night which is so annoying and the bathroom is so small and has a terrible smell, I’m still staying here as it is non refundable or I’d be out the second I came in it’s such a disappointment and their mini bar barely works and doesn’t even make ur drinks cold I thought it didn’t even work but the workers assured me that’s how it was and if I wanted my drinks cold I could put ice into the fridge which is atrocious, when I got the bucket of ice they charged me for it for what water? They charge u if I want even 2 spoons I asked for two spoons and they said it’d be £2 sorry but I could just buy my own pack of cutlery at that point they even charge £2 if u want two mini cups those tiny tiny cups of milk which barely do anything and I then found out was fake milk so cheap, and if u want to sleep in that’s not possible at 12 they knock on all doors and tell u it’s check out time like I’ll check out my room when I want I’m paying for it and bless the cleaners they barely get any supplies I don’t blame them but they are sweet, the toilet itself smelt disgusting and had some mold on it and the swimming pool closes at 8 just when it gets dark when they know its way too hot to go swimming during the day in this summer Dubai heat unlike other hotels which keep it open until 9 or 10 so I couldn’t even use the pool unless I wanted a raging tan or applied a bunch of sunscreen, I came here for business so I’m already under stress but the fact their so petty just makes me so mad I would genuinely do anything for a refund so I can just get out of this terrible hotel most id pay for this place a night is like...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel for 10 days and overall, the experience was quite good. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The stay was pleasant and the housekeeping staff was courteous and efficient.
However, I faced a significant issue with parking, especially during late hours. Both Basement 1 and 2 parking areas were full after midnight, and the staff had no effective solution. They simply asked to park “anywhere, which unfortunately led to blocking other cars or even parts of the internal road, creating unnecessary inconvenience.
The most disappointing part was when I noticed 3 vacant parking slots in the basement. When I approached the security and management about using one of them temporarily, I was told that those are reserved for the hotel owner (Arbab) and his family only, and hotel guests are strictly not allowed to use them – even when they’re vacant. I even offered to shift my car later when another space became available, but the response remained a firm no.
This was disheartening. As a paying guest of the hotel, I felt neglected. In a hospitality business, guest convenience should be the top priority, not holding empty parking spaces for non-staying family members of the owner. If parking is limited, the hotel should ideally ask during booking if the guest requires parking, and accept reservations accordingly.
I sincerely hope this message reaches the hotel management and the owner, as this policy reflects poorly on an otherwise great hotel. Either provide fair parking access to guests or limit room occupancy based on available parking. Guests should not have to feel second priority in a place they’re...
