I recently had the pleasure of visiting a charming Japanese cafe, and I must say that it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the cozy atmosphere, which featured a blend of traditional and modern Japanese decor.
One of the first things that caught my eye was the beautiful display of Japanese desserts and pastries, all of which looked incredibly tempting. I opted to try the matcha roll cake, which was light, fluffy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. It was truly a treat for the taste buds.
I also ordered a hot cup of sencha green tea, which was brewed to perfection and served in a beautiful teapot. The tea had a lovely, delicate flavor that was the perfect complement to my cake.
But the true highlight of the cafe was the friendly and attentive staff, who went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to answer any questions I had about the food and drinks.
Overall, I would highly recommend this Japanese cafe to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, delicious Japanese desserts and pastries, and a great cup of tea. Whether you're a lover of Japanese cuisine or simply looking for a unique and enjoyable cafe experience, this place is definitely...
Read moreOk, so as someone allergic to gluten, eggs, and dairy, this was an incredible experience. The food was so delicious that I took breaks to just let the flavor sync in.
I had the Don beef and some sauteed mushrooms along with their cola which was syrup that you mixed into a glass with sparkling water. Yum yum yum! I got 2 of them because the flavors were really fun and fresh.
I will be back and I cannot wait to try other things on the menu because I had a very hard time choosing which dish. A++
Update: a few days later, I came back for the same dish because I couldn't stop thinking about how delicious it was. So good.
Later update: I have eaten here 4 times now. So good.
6 months later update: I am back and I brought my daughter who is also Celiac. She's so happy to have so many options and the food is incredible. I expect I will keep coming back.
The views at night are just out...

A little more thought from the kitchen staff would have been good in this instance. If a customer asks for the removal of an ingredient, it should apply to the whole dish?! Drinks were good with some nice touches. Chocolate rolls were ok, a little cold and stodgy rather than crispy and hot, perhaps this is normal...
