Review for Element by Westin in Al-Jaddaf, Dubai
I have spent over 600 days at the Element by Westin in Al-Jaddaf, Dubai, and I can confidently say that it is one of the best hotel apartments in the city. Having stayed at various Element properties in Dubai and across the GCC, I can honestly state that this is the best one, hands down.
The Element Al-Jaddaf offers a fully equipped kitchen with a residential-sized refrigerator, a washer-dryer combo, a microwave, a water purifier, and a four-burner stove. The modern Scandinavian design is stylish and well-executed, with high-quality materials used throughout. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide abundant natural light, making the rooms bright and welcoming. The pillows and mattresses are of exceptional quality, contributing to a very comfortable stay.
The hotel also features an all-day pool, a restaurant called Palma that serves a good breakfast, and a convenience store within the same building. The convenience store is a game-changer, offering delivery services directly to your door for all essentials, from groceries to prepared meals. This adds a significant level of convenience and comfort to the stay. The entire property accepts credit card payments, which is very convenient.
There is also a well-maintained gym with multiple treadmills connected to the internet, open 24 hours a day. The gym, like the rest of the hotel, is kept immaculately clean. I’ve never had any issues with special requests, whether it was asking for extra bathrobes, daily shaving kits, air conditioning filter changes, or additional dishes—all requests were met promptly and perfectly.
The common areas are equally impressive, with two dedicated guest areas. The ground-floor lobby is a pleasant place to work during the day, but the real gem is the Residence Hall on the top floor. This tranquil area offers a breathtaking view of the Burj Khalifa, which you can admire 24/7 while working in peace.
The hotel’s location is excellent, with quick access to Al-Khale Road, one of Dubai’s main thoroughfares, and the Green Line of the metro, which connects to the Red Line, serving virtually all of Dubai.
Lastly, I must commend the staff. From the reception to the management and restaurant teams, everyone is highly professional and attentive to detail. This level of service and care is something I have found lacking in other hotels of the same chain, both within the UAE and in other GCC countries.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Element Al-Jaddaf. It deserves 5 out of 5 stars, 10 out of 10 for every aspect of its service. This is, without a doubt, the best place to...
Read moreWe booked this hotel based on its excellent reviews and the fact that it is part of the Marriott chain, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay. In my opinion, the hotel does not live up to a four-star standard, and I would rate it no more than three stars.
We had booked a specific room type well in advance, and the hotel had confirmed it. However, upon arrival, we were told the hotel was fully booked and they could not provide us with the room we had reserved with two separate beds. Instead, they offered us a room with a single bed. We immediately informed them that this was not acceptable, as our reservation had been confirmed with the details we chose. We later realized that the hotel was not actually fully booked.
The next day, we were moved to another room, which had a terrible odor, and we requested to change again. Over the course of two nights, we were moved between three different rooms. The third room didn’t smell as strongly, but it still had an odd odor. Additionally, the air conditioning couldn’t be set to 23°C or higher (there was a clear restriction), and the room was quite chilly at night. The windows weren’t soundproof, so the constant noise from the nearby road was clearly audible.
The hotel is located in the middle of construction sites, which meant there was no proper walking area. You had to rely on a shuttle bus at certain times or a taxi to get around. The hotel’s pool area was nice, though the view was again of the construction site and its noise.
Overall, we were extremely disappointed, especially since we had other, better options when booking, but chose this one. This hotel might be suitable for business travelers who are essentially just looking for a place to sleep and shower while traveling by car. I don't believe it's at all suited for a typical vacationer. On the positive side, the hotel staff was friendly...
Read moreExceptional Service and Warm Hospitality at Element Al Jaddaf Dubai
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Element Al Jaddaf Dubai, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. What truly made my stay exceptional was the incredible service provided by the hotel staff, especially the receptionist, Camella.
From the moment I arrived, Camella greeted me with a warm smile and a genuinely welcoming attitude. She was incredibly professional, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure my check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Not only did she provide all the necessary details about my stay, but she also took the time to offer personalized recommendations on nearby attractions and dining options, which made my trip even more enjoyable.
Throughout my stay, I noticed how Camella consistently treated all guests with the same level of warmth and attentiveness. Whether it was assisting with special requests, answering questions with patience, or simply making sure everyone felt at home, she truly exemplified what excellent customer service should be.
The rest of the hotel staff were equally courteous and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Housekeeping kept my room immaculate, the restaurant staff provided top-notch service, and even the concierge team was proactive in helping with transportation and itinerary planning.
Beyond the service, the hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. But it was the hospitality—especially from Camella—that made my experience truly memorable.
I highly recommend Element Al Jaddaf Dubai to anyone looking for a hotel that values its guests and provides service with a personal touch. A huge thank you to Camella and the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable—I will definitely...
