Taqado Mexican Kitchen - Irise Building — Restaurant in Dubai

I have just visited the Toqado Iris bldg brunch which I visit on a regular basis and must admit got very disappointed with service because of staff. If you want to be served with a grudge face and arrogant attitude you should look for Ms Cynthia. It’s a customer facing layout and if Ms Cynthia is not happy with the job and what she is doing she should not be preparing or serving food to customer as I’m sure I’ll get crumps after such service. Very disappointed as I like this branch more than others as Mr Christopher always makes it right and makes the food perfect with a smile and perfect customer mindset. I’d request the management to pay attention to staff that isn’t ready to behave accordingly as there are many people out there ready to learn and understand what appropriate customer service means and how to convey a point in a manner that doesn’t make customer want to leave. Ms Cynthia was absolutely oblivious to the fact that 6 tacos were prepared and ready to be wasted as we were about to walk away. Please, know your customer and understand the requests, make appropriate decisions and learn how to communicate!

This is perhaps one of the only Taqado outlets around where your food is neither served to you in a food court nor through a food truck.

My favourite Taqado outlet thus far has been the one at the Kite Beach. But well I've now got a new favourite thanks to the ambience and clean open spaces filled with greenary and tasteful seating.

Good staff and quick service. If you're lucky you might even have the Fortune to be served by the restaurant manager, Mr. Zahir who will go out of the way to make sure you are a satisfied customer!

If you are real hungry pick the 'boxes'. They have everything you need, from different rice to cream / cheese to different kinds of meat and even Guacamole (yes! Seems like they are the only regular Mexican restaurant to serve beans! Not sure why the rest don't serve beans!!)

There have been times where I've found the meals not as fresh (specially at food courts) but this is one location, you're bound to enjoy the tastiest and best quality Taqado meal ever!

Taqado Mexican Kitchen - my favorite Mexican go-to spot in Dubai! You have to try their Quesdillas Chili con Carne, it’s to die for (and no, it’s not spicy by default so don’t worry). Some other zero-regret choices: Chicken Burritos (filled with guac and sour cream kf course), the Crispy Tacos and literally the entire breakfast menu. I also just tried a new item on their new dessert menu, Smoresdilla, and I will definitely go back for more. Its tortilla filled with Nutella and Marshellows, all melted into one another.👌🏻 The staff are very friendly, there is Free Wifi & an indoor//outdoor seating area designed in this cool, young & industrial style!
