Bluestones — Hotel in Great Britain

We have just returned home having stayed here over jubilee bank holiday and it is absolutely fantastic, I cannot praise Michael the host highly enough, he was so helpful to my husband when we needed medical attention at the hospital, he made breakfast for us even though we were late back from hospital, nothing was too much trouble. He is a wealth of knowledge about walks/buses and the launches at both Keswick and Windermere. Our room was spotless and warm, lovely fluffy white towels, tea/coffee making and biscuits. It is so close to the centre of Keswick so very easy to get to the lake or either Hope or Fitz Park. We will definitely be back here in the near future without a doubt, we have been to Keswick lots of times and this is the best B&B we have ever stayed at there. If it isn’t 5* it certainly should be. We stayed here a week 25th Sept to 29th Sept 23, fantastic location , 3 min walk to shops cafes and pubs and small cinema, its also sn excellent location to be based at in Keswick for all the walks or short drives to other beautiful places to visit, The host Michael was excellent full of information and easy to talk too, our room was very clean and bed remade every day along with more teabags and off course six chocolates for us everyday, we filled in a paperslip for breakfast everyday and all the food was excellent, but Michael cooked tomatoes if you like them were excellent, they just melted in your mouth, will most diffinately be back next year. I have to give this place credit for it’s location ,helpful host Micheal and great food with a very comfortable bed with a great view of skiddaw to wake up to , ||I was very happy with its location , 2 mins from fitz park, where I watched the cricket on a fabulous sunny night . Spar around the corner if I needed supply’s for my walks around the lakes . Town centre was also a 2 min walk. The beautiful Derwent water was approximately 10 mins walk maximum.
