Let me be clear from the get go!|This is a budget hotel, if you are expecting art deco fixtures, antiques, and swanky expensive fixings, etc, STOP! |Go and book somewhere else if that's what you want, cos you won't get it here! That's a good thing! It's a budget hotel for crying out loud! So don't whine about the fixings etc If you come here.||Right, the important stuff.|I booked this hotel for myself, another member of staff and 3 clients with learning disabilities and autism. So five separate rooms at a great price for three days.|It has exactly what you want for a weekend in Blackpool. A room, bed, washing utilities! Your not coming to Blackpool for the accommodation really are you? |Beds are comfy, rooms clean, the usual tea and coffee stuff. Other amenities are available on request such as irons and so on.|Staff are very friendly and welcoming and willing to help you out where needed.|Rooms are warm and cosy.|Location is great and close to all amenities, a short walk gets you to coral island or the tower and of course from there to everything else. There's a cash point just round the corner as well as a decent mini supermarket.||Manager helped us out by making sure we all had rooms next to each other, which helped us to support our clients when needed. |Would I come back? Does anybody ever check the pictures and information provided by this hotel. Firstly it states there is parking. On arrival I was told it was on a first come first served basis, i'm pretty sure there isn't any. I booked a comfort triple room, there wasn't anything comfortable about it.The bedding is all dark so impossible to tell whether it was clean or not. I did check the sheets and they were all on back to front which made me think they'd just been turned over.Thankfully I took my own pillows but still felt manky when I left. I'm 63 years old and was staying with 2 foster children we were on the 4th floor with no lift and no help with luggage. There was no WIFI and the TV only had 2 working channels bbc1 and bbc2, with 2 children 11 and 14 this caused quite a problem especially when the WIFI was advertised on the website as high speed. The website advertised breakfast this is also non-existent.The pictures show no relation to the hotel whatsoever. We were given the keys on arrival and never saw any staff again even when we left there is just a place to hang up your keys. There was no microwave or fridge either. I know this is a budget hotel, I've stayed in budget hotels before but never anything like this. If you book to stay here after reading this you only have yourself to blame. We booked into this hotel for 2 nights Friday 7th to Sunday 9th on first impression we thought omg what have we booked here!!! The place stank it was horrendous. We were given our keys to our rooms that’s when the reality hit home that we’d booked into the biggest dump in Blackpool it was cold filthy & smelly. We spent the night in our clothes as we daren’t get undressed for bed incense we got ate alive. The following morning we were woke from the stench of the family who Owned hotel doing there cooking was too much.
