Went in on football night new years day with my wife approx 10pm, made to feel so un welcome and un safe because was told if I didn't support Blackpool then wasn't welcome with about 50 kids chanting and smashing dart board and pool table right next to where we stood purposely knocking into me to try and gain a reaction etc, told them I'm a wanderers fan and didn't care what they did wouldn't be chanting for no Blackpool fan to feel big to then be told well FU£% O&# your not welcome in here then, told bouncers and they just said oh there at it again we will have a word, when they make people feel so unsafe for even being in there, honestly absolutely shocking, no teams fans would ever be treated that way in any bar in Bolton that's a guarantee, shame really because without these set of absolute muppets ruining the place its probably really nice but when they do nothing to tackle this sort of behaviour then it's going to keep having that reputation so I suggest on matchdays maybe hire extra security to be on the insides too...not just the doors to then calm it down from the sheer verocity levels it got too last night..... wouldn't be getting even 1 star if it allowed but had too just...
Read moreThis was our first time at The Castle, we called in for a drink as part of my friends birthday celebrations. We took it for banter at first and laughed it off but he continued to become more rude and foul mouthed towards us. This wasnt funny, light hearted banter, it was plain hostility. I suspect this is his DJ persona but it was just obnoxious rather than funny.
We raised this with management as we were shocked at his attitude towards us and felt embarrassed at how far he felt the need to take it. We were advised to simply...
Read moreA bit disappointed.. I’m a local girl and I came in for a refreshing vodka redbull before getting the coach to Manchester as the coach station is across the road. I got a sugar free redbull which was half opened from the person befores previous drink so it was tasteless and flat. I told the bar man sorry I don’t like the sugar free version, can I have a normal sugar vodka redbull and I’ll still pay for both. He said they don’t do full sugar redbull when I could see plenty of normal sugar cans in the fridge and the website says they do full sugar ones too! The man just couldn’t be bothered as it was busy. Left the drink on the side as couldn’t drink it. Walked out and...
