Absolute gem! Family stay 2A+3K ( teens) in the Penthouse - Duke of Monmouth, top floor. Lovely central location, clean, very comfortable beds and had everything we could have needed. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room. Nice patio/terrace to the back too. Parking a short /steep walk away but we didn't use the car as Lyme is just perfect for eating out, walking and browsing through galleries and shops - all on foot. Would definitely stay again. Lovely place and very cute. Very small bedrooms but in reality that does not take away from how lovely it is. However I would have struggled with another couple being there. They do advise this on the site so very transparent. Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is the shower - poor power and not very hot and small - even though there was room for a bigger one or with the entrance at the side away...

We stayed in the Argyll apartment in Monmouth House. A lovely little find! Perfect for 2. Very clean and well equipped. Tastefully decorated and beautifully comfortable. The location is extremely convenient - 5 minutes walk from everywhere. The parking permit was much appreciated.
