We had originally booked at The Serenity Hotel in Bournemouth and were pleased with how the photos looked online. Although upon arrival we were informed that our hotel had been fully booked and that they were to move us to another hotel they own (Turay Group) called Azure Beach Hotel. This room was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Here are a list of the pros and cons… Pros: Couldn’t have had a better location, 5 minutes away from everything, very pleased with this. Cheap parking through the stay Cons: No WiFi or mobile signal, we were informed that none of the hotels on the street had signal and that BT network is down, so there wouldn’t be any WiFi during the stay. The shower was broken, imagine showering under your bathroom tap… Bedding was shocking, we had a small double with 2 pieces of cloth for pillows which didn’t have any padding in so might as well have not had any. We had to use the clothes we brought. Floor was dirty. Fridge in the room intermittently had a loud fan turned on every 5 minutes, frustrating when you’re trying to go to sleep. Small issue was lack of a room mirror, only in the bathroom above the sink.
We had confronted them for why we had been put in another hotel when we booked The Serenity Hotel not The Azure Hotel. They told me that that the hotel was fully booked? But we booked a room there for that day weeks in advance…
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone regardless of how accessible it is to the heart of...
Read moreQuiet and peaceful hotel.
I have read the other reviews and they are fair and accurate. However, it really isn’t a problem. The hotel is beautiful and peaceful with no complaints. The staff are friendly and adequate.
Comfortable bed, quiet room, Ensuite
I could have late check out due to my disablement no probs.
Only thing is, I would say, stairs, (only a couple of flights) no lift, and hills to walk to the hotel. It’s not a problem, a little bit of exercise will not hurt. Central area 7 minute walk. I managed it and I am less abled.
Check in at the other hotel or via the telephone number, no problem, it’s 2 mins round the corner or a phone call. Why waste staff and resources? No need
