44 Curzon Street by Mansley — Hotel in London

we stayed in Edinburgh mansley on thistle street for three nights a then had nine nights in London on 44 Cruzon st . Both stays were disappointing and terribly overpriced. ||We had stayed at Mansley in Edinburgh 2 years in a row without issue in rm12. this year we were given an unrequested upgrade which was really a downgrade based upon the plainness on the apt , the useless tv and unuseful kitchenette. it was nice gesture, but was unsolicited and a disappointing change. The second day we were offered another room which was worse than the current one. This was in the basement terribly small and noisy from outside . Overall the people are nice but the facility was well below what we paid. ||This was not worth the money we paid and we will not stay again. |||| The next stay was in London for nine days . When we booked the apt we thought it was air conditioned. It was not. If I could have got my money b ack I would have checked out right away thank goodness the weather was cool. Again the tv did Not work right, The noise from outside was at times unbearable at 1 am every night cars and motorcycle would roar by like it was a raceway and the noise was terrible. I don’t think the windows and doors are insulated. the restaurant across the street emptied bottles late every night waking us up with terrible noise of disposing the trash particularly bottles. We did not get a good night sllep the whole time because of the noise . I will not stay at mansley managed apartments again. The price paid versus the quality of stay was well below average and I think we should get a partial refund for our trouble. RUN AWAY! You will feel as if you are sleeping on the street. The building is dilapidated and all the buildings surrounding it are under maintenance. There is absolutely no sound insulation in the walls. You will not be able to sleep at all. Even during the day of the first day, they carried out maintenance on the upper rooms in a barbaric manner, which prevented us from sleeping that day even though it was a Weekend day but they made it very early as they don’t care at all. Be careful not to book here before reading the experiences of others because nothing is as in the pictures at all. Everything is dirty and they do not care about cleanliness. Even the shower gel and shampoo are not as shown in the pictures. They want to exploit you in any way. The location could not be better in the heart of Mayfair, within five minutes walk of Green Park tube and ten minutes from Bond St tube. The area is charming with many great patisseries, coffee shops and restaurants.|The apartment was spacious with a large living room and well equipped bathroom and spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable.|The only thing to be aware of is that there is no air conditioning which was a problem when I arrived on a day when the temperature reached 92F (33C) and the only cooling method was a fan.|There are no facilities other than the apartments (no gym, restaurant etc).|Highly recommend so long as the...
