Exceptional organic locally run business. Staff take care in making customers a delicious beverage so possibly not the best of your needing a super quick take away shot of caffeine.
However for those looking for a leasurely coffee break you'll find nowhere better. The drinks are superb and handmade pastries are to die for. If your looking for a really decedent treat, indulge in a hot chocolate with flake and whipped cream!
Those wanting to take breakfast or brunch out will find a wide selection of incredible meals, with options for vegetarians and vegans. The eggs Benedict is better than I've had at a Michelin starred restaurant and the big breakfast will keep you going all day - the sausage in particular is exceptional.
I've not tried the waffles but having seen the reaction they cause in those that eat then, I'm pretty sure they are also first rate.
The cafe has a very cosy atmosphere, radio plays in the background at a suitable volume to provide ambience without being distracting. On a wet dismal Tuesday morning it is well lit.
If your popping into the cinema for a lunchtime movie, would highly recommend crossing the street first and indulging...

Not only was the Big Breakfast expensive at £10.50, only serving one sausage and one egg, but the rude waitress refused to swap mushrooms out and gleefully told me that people prefer to build their own breakfast from individual items and that their "system" can't accommodate swapping items even if the replacement cost less than the item to be swapped out. When she came back, I told her that I have an intolerance to mushrooms and only after more debating, she relented, stating "If it makes you happy I'll ask the kitchen", rolling her eyes at the person I came in with. Once served with a replacement black pudding, I lifted my toast to see the remnants and juice of mushrooms hidden away. I couldn't believe this after telling them I'm intolerant, they just moved them off and still served on the same plate.
My advice is to hop on the 129 and go to the GMT cafe down Woolwich Road , which is cheaper, friendlier and will exchange items. It'll still work out cheaper as well even factoring in...
Read moreA good option if in Greenwich, the cafe seems fairly popular with locals and tourists alike. The menu is fairly simple, classic breakfast/brunch dishes, salads and sandwiches, myself and my partner opted for the latter and all the ingredients seems to be very good quality. The fresh orange juice was amazing, and very glad that I was tempted by the the coffee and walnut cake with my coffee to finish, also delicious. We went here a month ago, and what made this place really stand out however was the customer service, friendly and efficient from the time we entered. When the clasp on my satchel broke, the waitress offered me a hair bobble as a temporary measure, and even tied it on for me, something she was adept at having told me that this had happened to her a number of times before. Due to this I was able to enjoy my afternoon out in Greenwich with my satchel over my shoulder as intended. Particular thanks to the waitress who helped me out here (I did not get her name), this really was going beyond...
